w205 retrofit to 2018
Heyyyy..... Does anyone know if I can retrofit the new steering wheel, instrument cluster, infotainment system, wireless charger & headlights of the 2018 model in my w205 2016 model? if so then how can I do etc...

Should be no problem as they are piratically the same. The only issue I can see is that if a loaded 2018 and basic 2016 may not have all the wires. It's best to get a hold of a service good or the software to make sure.

I dont have the basic 2016. I have a full option c class. I am not able to get a hold of anyone who can help with the software or service book. I even have a vin number of a 2018 car... could anyone help with getting the info?

I have the same question, I have a 11.2015 production date w205 with the large Comand Online and would like to retrofit the new Comand from the 2018 facelift. Anyone has some more information on that? Thanks.

just buy the 2019. Most of that stuff won't just bolt on. The wire harnesses will be very different and they are assembled in large bundles. The SAM will need to be changed out and programmed.

I have seen where the wireless charging pad is installed in the 2019, and it won't fit in the prior versions because the 2019 has more depth inside so that even an iPhone X that I tested fits confortably. In my 2015 the iPhone X does not even fit at all, so the spacing is quite different in that area. FYI the wireless charging pad is in the cupholders area under the center console, on the left side of the 12v power source.

Hence why the 2019 doesn't have the CD drive.... in order to allocate more room for the storage area.
That's why the wireless charge would be the easiest. You just need the charging assembly, the wire harness (or hook it up), and the non-CD bezel (optional).
