MBUSA 2019 C Class Configurator is up!
It's a bit buggy yet, but at least those of us waiting for our builds (mine is supposed to be assembled within the next two weeks, I think), we can start to visualize how our builds will look. :-)

From Vehicles, select Sedans & Wagons.
Then, under C-Class Sedan, select "Models"...I selected C300 4Matic Sedan and then I get the 2019 C Class. But again, the configurator is buggy. It does not allow certain package combinations that are valid together per the DOG.

Hmmm, that’s the only one there for sure. I started with the coupe and cabriolet along with the C43 and they are all 18s still.

That said, one of my prior W204s (2013 C300 4Matic) was assembled in SA and it was one of the most solid cars I've ever driven.

My build (scheduled to be complete in a couple of weeks) will come from Alabama, so I'd bet with some confidence yours will too.

I posted a thread a few months ago on this. For 18 MY, the USA got some S African made 205's, although, it seems that engines still came from Nissan in Tennessee and were sent to S Africa rather than coming from Daimler's Untertürkheim plant Germany. I think this had to do with supplier issues more than overflow issues due to demand?? ....if we do get S African 19's, we won't see them until possibly Dec or Jan as they are produced and shipped to Europe first then loaded onto boats with the rest of the German made cars before being sent to the US...for us in California...that's a long time.

Just ordered a 2019 C300 Coupe in the US and system said it was being built in Bremen. For what it’s worth, owned multiple W204 C250s, both sedans made in SA and they were rock solid with no issues- not a single creak or rattle.

Yes, all of the 2-door coupes (C205) and cabrios (A205) are made in Germany only, and will be equiped with engines and transmissions made in Germany. The 4-door sedan (W205) is made in various places.

I would bet/imagine/hope for you that yours will also be built in Vance so you don't have to wait any longer.

I got an update on my 2019 C300 4Matic sedan---scheduled to be built Oct 30, and the dealer confirmed it will be built in Vance...delivery anytime between Nov 5 and Nov 10.

I got an update from my dealer that my car completed production afterall, and they expect to get it this weekend and delivery on Monday afternoon Oct 29. NICE!
The VIN, and the timeline, means it was for sure built in AL.
I'd imagine your dealer is also eager to log the retail sale....so happy waiting for you! The day is getting closer.

Thanks for the info. Coincidentally, I contacted my sales person this past Friday and he replied that my C300 was 'in production as we speak'. I presume that my car is being built in AL.I have no idea how long it will take to arrive here in CO? He said he would keep me informed, but he never does, I will call to find out. Thanks again.
Nonetheless, your dealer should be able to tell you exactly where your car is with the PO number.

You could be getting a S African built car... I had money down on a car with almost all the options I wanted and it is currently on its way from Germany on a boat, scheduled to arrive in California mid November. That means that S African built cars for the US started production in Sept. They just have to be shipped to Germany first before heading to the US. I got impatient and went to another dealer and bought an Alabama built car that was already here. The 19's engines come from Germany and not Nissan in Tennessee.
Nonetheless, your dealer should be able to tell you exactly where your car is with the PO number.

That's the way logistics are set for cars bound for the US from S Africa... BMW did this as well with S African made 3ers. Doesn't make much sense but all inbound S African cars come on the same ships as those that are built in Germany. The 19 S African I put a deposit on was sitting on a boat somewhere in the North Sea as of last week after just departing the port in Northern Germany.
