No Airmatic option in 2019 MBUSA Build tool?

Anyone else notice there is no Airmatic option in the MBUSA build tool for the 2019? Are there other specific options you need to have before that option is available?

The Dealer Order Guide did not list it and I confirmed with my sales advisor that for whatever reason it's not available in USA for 2019 C300s.

One other thing in the USA configurator that actually is buggy is that it does not handle some of the packages together correctly...it seems to choke on the fact that Blind Spot Assist is in Premium Package and is also a stand-alone option. But the configurator will not let you select Premium Package AND Driver Assistance Package together (Driver Assitance Package has Active Blind Spot Assist). So that core mess will also stop you from optioning out any option that requires Premium Package IF you also select Driver Assistance Package. Oh and it won't let you select Parking Assistance Package AND Driver Assistance Package.

My build (delivery end of this month or very early November) includes Premium Package, Parking Assitance Package, and Driver Assistance package (and others) so best thing to do is to get ahold of a dealer order guide and/or sit with a sales advisor...at least until the configurator is fixed to reflect what you cacn really put together in a build. BUT at least the 2019 C300 configurator is up for USA....2019 E Class model info and configurator are not updated on the MBUSA site.

Well poop, I thought that might be the case since there also isn't any mention of Airmatic in any of the other 2019 C-Class pages I've looked at.

If it goes bad, you can be stranded in the middle of nowhere at night. I've lived with it for 10+ years. No airmatic in my life anymore!

A gaggle of MB's
1. On Option Packages - the earlier info posted here is not necessarily accurate - the MB Netstar Config tool is the actual "Configurator" - the MB US website is like a general overview/guide - yes - MultiMedia requires Premium 1 - and and Driver's Assistance require MultiMedia... Blind Spot can be added w/o MultiMedia with a indiv control code ... and Parking Assist can be selected w/o MultiMedia with a control code and 10.25" indiv LVD screen options
In Netstar there are some individual codes and options that have to be made to allow the combo's that do not show on the the MB website.

I’m pretty sure that airmatic was not an option when I ordered my 2018 C300. I think it was available only on the hybrid.

I think the only mistake I made was to call the "build" tool on MBUSA's site a "configurator", but that is an issue of translation. In Germany, that is what this tool is called. The context is pretty clear that the consumer-facing website tool does not have the capability of Netstar, which is why it's best to go to the dealer for specifics after just getting a basic idea on the website, as I wrote.

Otherwise you basically wrote the same thing I wrote regarding packages combinations (you cannot put them together on the website, but the dealers most certainly can...as evidences by my own build which cannot be put together as ordered on the website) but you gave more insider info, which is super cool.

And it's a new day so it's one day closer to when I get my build!!! :-)

2016 C300 4matic
That's a shame. I guess it only comes on the full AMG models now. I'd personally never buy another mercedes without the airmatic option. It was the best upgrade from my 2015 C300 to my 2016 C300.
