Hey guys I just want to ask a simple question,

do you yall have front license plates on your car(s)?

I live in California and I have a front license plate but I'm debating whether to take it off,
I like the look, but that would be breaking the law, but some close friends of mine say they haven't gotten pulled over.

Should I do it?

just avoid San Francisco. they will write you a ticket when parked in public street. always park in garage in SF.
most other cities in bay area just don't care.

Do you EVER drive with a few beers in you? That's the only question for me. All the cops need is ANY reason to pull you over at 1:00 am.

I don't have a front plate but I don't drink and can afford the $50 non-moving violation tickets when they come. A DUI is a whole other story.

I haven't put mine on yet, mostly because I don't want to drill the bumper. Debating on a tow hook mount.

in San Francisco is 121$ for no front plate. I got one for parking on public street. or pay 10$ to fix it.

Here in Texas they are required, I don't even notice them anymore but I think I'd see the absence of a front plate as somewhat odd. I do as little as possible to draw law enforcement's attention.

Agreed, the offset mount isn't ideal.
Pondering fabbing my own that would place the plate as close to center, without needing to drill the bumper.
