That site was for torn CV boots. The boots tend to be on the thinner side. The C450 and C43 are actually heavier than the C400 by ~90–130 lbs.
Yet they have stronger axles and CV joints to handle more torque. Mercedes designed the W205 chassis with a tight steering radius.

GKN supplies Mercedes directly so that will work for my car and it's better designed to handle 45:55 split put on the front outer CV joints. I've got 50,000 miles.
