Unhappy C400 Paint bubbling

Bought my CPO C400 about 6 months ago, upon purchasing the car, I inspected the paint and found some bubbling around the door handles of the car. Talked to the dealer and they said they would repaint all doors for free if I decide to within the next year. Was wondering if its really worth repainting the doors? Will the bubbling start to chip? WIll it get worse overtime?

The only reason why I wouldn't want to get them repainted is i'm worried the color wont match the rest of the cars color.

It's either touch up paint from a scratch or chip.
I highly doubt it's rust since the doors are aluminum.
Could be from an accident and was not painted properly.
Possibly a contaminated area when vehicle was painted.

Looks like a poor repair with old paint reacting with the new, I’d be going over the whole vehicle with a fine tooth comb first, circle the areas with a crayon and make a lot of noise

I wouldn't be concerned about colour match these days as professionals can get it exact.

Please do not let it slide and go unrepaired.
Get it done asap

Is it a Mercedes dealership? Today's professionals can replicate any factory paint to the point where you can't even tell the difference even if you had a magnifying glass.
But what makes me wonder, is that you have these bubbles on opposite sides of the car?

my first taught would be an aftermarket paint going bad.

The bubbling is present near all four door handles.

Would be great if someone here has some good experience with paint to give his opinion on that matter.

But you need to fix it, or it will be worst.

If they are offering to do it free, take advantage before it gets worse, or it ends up bugging you to death a year from now. Probably had the doors repainted due to vandalism (Deep key scratches), and the prep and paint was done poorly.

Well... this is corrosion "bubbling" - you have Keyless Go - so there is a slight electrical charge thru each handle -the doors were either not correctly "treated" at the factory before paint (I haven't seen that - but anything "could" happen) and electrolysis/ocrrosion is happening under the paint - I "doubt" all 4-doors have been repainted

YES have the dealer do that job "quick" - the longer you wait the "foggier" their commitment might get..
