I like the footwells & the ribbon from the doors & along the dash, but that does it for me. Don't care for the speakers & A/C vents to be lit.

Have heard issues with the 10" though, and so far those on the 9.33" ones said they had the better resolution and it works better. I don't have the full details, cos i'm still on my stock ones.

Before I purchased, I assumed the entire ring was illuminated, but it's just the small area around the vent knob. The rest is just light reflecting off the silver trim. But it works. You don't want your cabin to be super bright and adding more things with leds will do that.
If you look at the bottom photo you can see how bright it gets with all the lights off. This is how you look driving down the highway. Bright enough in person.

I am making excuse to drive around at night.
These look pretty good & are tempting. I will say that your door ambient lighting looks a little bright for my tastes, compared to the vents.

Rear vents are only 2 inches wide and are a different overall design than the stock fronts. I don't spend time back there, so no need for leds.
What I might do is get 2 ambient lighting speaker covers for the full range door speakers in back, for balance.

Thumbs up though on the job you've done.

Changing to match the propeller look of the fronts or also adding 3 color ambient light?
I looked around and even the chinese DIY guys don't think those rear vents are worth it.

There isn't a mod currently available for those rear vents online.

The Mercedes Benz 3 color ambient lighting system in the console only uses one led for the 3 colors and only has 3 wires.
One wire is ground and the other two are 12volt depending on which color you want. ( blue, yellow or white ).
If the blue wire is 12 volt, you get blue color. if the yellow is 12 volt you get Yellow (solar) color. l am not really sure how white is triggered, probably by sending 12 volt to both blue and yellow wires at the same time?

I was surprised to find that they use clear plastic tubes to transmit the ambient light along the edge of the console and not long leds strands.
There is only one led attached to both ends of each clear tube. 4 in total.
