I want to buy a Mercedes w205 c400, build year 2015
It has
- Distronic+
- Airmatic
- Panorama
- Head-up display
- Burmester
The only problem is that, the car has so many kilometers, 187.000, yes 187k kilometers for only 4 years of usage. Is it a good idea to buy a car with such kilometers.
The car costs 26.900 euros from a mixed dealership.

If it helps as a point of reference, I just bought a 2015 C400 with 47k miles for $23,500 USD last month. Panoramic roof, 8.4” screen, Burmester. I’m not sure how rare they are where you are, but I’d hold off for one with less miles for that price. Not saying they aren’t reliable at that mileage (I’m planning on keeping mine that long), I just think that’s a lot of money for the mileage. But I also don’t know what your market is like.Originally Posted by Berin Aptulla

They are extremely rare here.
There are a few of them ( Germany ) but with fewer kilometers (approx. 50k miles) are 35k euros.
Most of the C classes here are either c180 or c200. Very rare c300, and c400.

If the car has his services every year i dont think you can expect much problems, since these engines are very good!
To ask for prices here isnt fair to give you a good answer... since the prices in the US are way less than by you and me in Europe!
have bought mine a year ago with 85k KM 2015 for € 45K
They are rare indeed here, most are 180 or 200 and almost none 400’s
can tell you it is a great engine

And they say that the Airmatic is very fragile. Have you experienced any problems with that so far?Originally Posted by Petje

I’d say hell no. You’d be in for a lot of expensive repairs. Especially when you can get a 2015 with ~30-40k miles all day long.
