That decision is up to you. They all appear to be the same type quality. Which sequence you prefer.

Also, this one is twice as expensive $65
What I prefer is the one that is the easiest to install and looks the best lol. I plan on sticking to either orange or white light instead of any other color.

Wiring Dynamic Turning Signal

Hi all, pretty new to the forums and looking for some additional help with the instal, if anyone can tell me or has a picture to post how the new dynamic turning signal is wired to the blue puddle light?

1. Is a piece of the puddle light stripped and then wrap around the aftermarket wire around it and put electrical tape

2. Should you take out the blue puddle light from white joint and unclamp it from the end pun and stick the aftermarket wire in there as well and replace it back.

Hope that made sense. Thanks in advance!

I have those ones too! My only gripe is the smoked lenses make them kinda dim on bright sunny days. Otherwise they look and work awesome.

As mentioned previously, the connectors in the mirror housing are a little fragile; be very careful when pushing the cover with the new light installed back into position.

Here are some pictures of black mirror caps and side blinkers. I bought both of them from AliExpress and the quality on the mirror caps is like **** to say the least. On the other hand the blinkers work perfectly fine though it was a pain to align the pins on the passenger side but once I got that done they worked like a charm. The driver side mirror cap came cracked and the seller is sending me a replacement but with this whole coronavirus situation it has been more than a month and I still haven't got it so I Ended up installing the cracked one and obviously it does not fit flush on one side but it is tight enough that it won't pop off so I am living with it and anyway if I don't point it out then nobody can tell. The other problem with the caps is that they have at least one or two tabs that came broken but again nothing that can compromise the hold so I made it work basically by strong arming both of them. Attached are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Or maybe I'll try a different brand of light.

I haven't installed them.

I kept the first version that stays blue after unlock on my car

I actually have two GRD sets now. I was on YouTube and the Flexx guy had what i thought was a different version ( without the extra red sequence at the end)

I ordered from DMP (lame) customs and they just sent me the same GRD lights directly from china. What a joke.

So now i have two sets. One second difference is not that bad. Keep in mind the mirrors have fully unfold first and they don't even do that at the same speed.

I can sell you one of my sets if you still want. $65. Let me know.

Here is the Flexx video. Check out 4:30 (fake)

Oh really, are you sure they light up orange? I'd buy yours if I knew they were just like mine . I really like the color change effect on mine, it actually changes to a pink color (not red) then back to blue. I think I remember seeing a small sticker on the back of them with the manufacturing date of sometime very recent. So probably they made a change on the color effect if yours is a red color.

The animation on mine is perfect except the ending when they shut off. Everything else including when the animation starts is in sync, and in a video I've seen of another person's car they shut off at the same time. So I'm wondering if it was just by chance that some of them have the variance in timing and considering trying another pair to check.

Here are what mine look like when they change color from blue to pink, before back to blue again.

The ones I have are the same as yours. GRD brand. The color can be discribed as orange, pink or red depending on who is looking. I hate it. Also, I agree with you, i wish they stayed on after unlock, like my current ones

This is mine.

Oh yea, I see it now yours is the same. Sure I will take them from you and give it a try, perhaps they will be timed correctly and if not that's ok I will learn to accept it as it is. Can you PM me your info to make the payment to.

BTW here's a video of mine

And on this one you can see how both are timed

Your video actually makes them look good.

They look synced to me or is it just the red/pink part?

LOL yea they look great on video. I like them just wish they stayed on but that's alright. The entire part is synced except the shutting off at the end. You're not the only one to tell me they could not notice it so maybe it is just something you can only really see in person when the light is shining in your eyes. But the passenger side shuts off a split second faster then drivers side. And since I know not all of them are like that it makes me want to try another set since they're fairly inexpensive anyway.

I can see the out of sync delay at the very end of the video. I am going to check mine when it gets dark to see if my blue lights turn off at the same time. Mine are the older style with the dynamic amber and static blue lights spliced into the puddle lamps.

That would be great to know if yours is the same, thanks! Yours is the GRD branded lights?

Nope they aren't GRD. Just pulled a mirror cover and they are unbranded.

Draped a towel over my windshield light sensor and tested. Looks like my driver side blue light shuts off a split second sooner than the passenger side. Great

In your case are they shutting off with the puddle light?

Because the puddle light power cutoff would control timing.

Correct. They are wired to the incoming 12v source and not dependant on the puddle lights themselves operating in tandem. Assuming that both puddle lights feed from the same 12v circuit, any variance in lighting performance would most likely be caused by the (Chinese) LED controllers and/or the LED strips themselves. The amber lights remain perfectly in sync when the hazards are activated. I'll research a bit more and observe the puddle lamps also.

The yellow indicators gets power from the 2 pins

The blue is powered from the puddle light circuit using the green wire.

Or are you saying the green wire is only the trigger to switch to blue and not actually powering the blue leds?
