Unfortunately my local MB dealer is one of those that doesn't negotiate on price. To top it off when I ordered the car the order guide didn't even exist (I think I ordered on the week, if not the first day that 2020 ordering opened up); prices for what I was ordering wasn't available. I had asked multiple times though whether my lease amount would be any different from what I'm currently paying and I was assured it would not be. Thankfully though I am purchasing through USAA services, so what the dealership can charge is as far as I know, is restricted.
Do you any other dealers to compete?
I negotiated 12% off a custom order even before the 2020 ordering was open.
You can always refuse the car if the price is not agreeable. You do have the power.

When I went to my dealer this past spring to buy a 2019 they told me the same thing. How does a dealer not negotiate? I don't understand this approach.
Yeah, I asked the first dealer and he came back with his best price (MSRP). When we said we're not paying list price the response was "I can understand some people need a little help to purchase".
Escalated this to his manager and finally got an offer of 10% off a 2019. Nothing in stock there or anywhere else had the equipment we wanted so they extended 10% off for custom ordered 2019 but shortage of Heads up display Plus the 2020 ordering was almost available so we got them to give 10% off a 2020.
They were such jerks that we went to a second dealer and had them beat that for 12% off an ordered 2020.
My dealer tells me that the some 2020 C300s are arriving so they have started to roll out. Still waiting for my C43 to be released.
Well that's good news if the 2020's have been released. My car should be at port by the end of the day...maybe they will have some delivery date tomorrow...but that is a long reach hope.
Thanks for the release information! I just spoke to my sales manager, turns out I found out about the release before he did thanks to that notification. My car has been released but hasn't been assigned transportation to the dealership, so I don't have a delivery date yet. I hope to have preliminary lease numbers by the end of the day....I'm not holding my breath for it but I expect numbers either today or tomorrow.
Please let me know if you have any questions...I've only put about 10 miles on it so far. Anyone know how long it takes for Mercedes Me connect email to come through?
