DIY Install of Stock-Looking Ambient Lighting for $35

Hi all, I have just installed the center console ambient lighting in my 2015 C300. I actually created a whole write-up on this but apparently I got logged out before it posted
If you'd like a full write-up please let me know and I'll re-do it. (Also if there's anywhere to find an auto-saved post please let me know so I don't have to do it again haha)
Heres a video of it in action, although it looks even better in person. I think I'm the first person to do this kit in a C300 hardwired, but let me know if I'm wrong!

Here's what I used:
Amazon Amazon

It took about 2 hours using some basic tools, and other than the remote it'd be hard to tell it apart from a stock one

I'll be busy for the evening but I'll try to get a write up done soon if there's enough interest!

(P.S. I like to leave it on a single color or slow fade, but it was kind of fun using the music-enabled control for demonstration purposed)

Thanks guys! Let me know what you think!

to add to this, you can buy the actual OEM fiber tubes that go to the sides of the center console, they're only 8 bucks each side. Then you can just connect your fiber optic light engine to those. I did a setup with 2 light engines from eBay for $15 bucks, clipped in the OEM fiber optic things (which are just plastic tubes) and got the same effect. I can change the colors with a remote in the center console

I looked to buy some when I did the project but only was able to find kits that included them. Do you have a link or part number that would make it easier to find? I’d like to switch mine over to that for the most seamless light possible. Thanks!
