2019 C300 star removal
Anybody knows how to remove the star on the 2019 model. It's not like the 2015 model I had

Very easy , mine came off by accident today when I was cleaning the car, actually. All you do is twist counter clockwise and pull out. I was surprised by how easy it was to remove.

The star on the 2019 comes off the same way as before, just rotate anti clockwise.

Counter clockwise. Banging with rubber mallet.
Im close to breaking the thing off at this point.
I dont have distronic. But i do have the same star as imaged above. Not the hollow type.

Its not budging. Are there any videos or something with this type of star?

Can you try to wedge a plastic pry tool in between the silver trim and the gloss black backing of the star and take out the silver trim?
I've seen some stars where the silver trim clips on after the twist and holds the star in place.

I have a OEM replacement illuminated star. It is 2 pieces The silver trim is not on it. Ill try that.
