Shift Problem Solution ( w205 No More Jerky )
Anyone who has shift jerked into gear 1-2 or 2-3 can try this Diverter valve DV+ T9358. It take 20 minutes to install and very easy DIY job.
I tried it for 6 months and there is no more jerky, run like an CVT transmisson

GFB’s DV+ solution is more responsive, less expensive, easier to install, and doesn’t cause compressor surge/ turbo flutter
It provides an faster boost recovery on gearshift and during throttle modulation
Improved boost holding ability
You can also buy it on ebay , make sure the model is T9358 and the real one.

You follow his instruction and do the same way on W205.
I did it. It makes my car transmission work smoother
Search the forms here, there are numerous references to after-market atmospheric BOV's and other than adding the "pshhhhh" sound at vent, do not improve performance.

Did you give your car a try yet ?
I'm just not sure if it's smoother now because of the software update or because the transmission "learning" was reset as a result of the update. I guess if it was the latter, the shifts will gradually get rougher again.
As an aside, I installed a turbo BOV on my last car (Fiat 500 Abarth) and understand the mechanics behind it. At best the BOV will allow the turbo to recover faster after spooling, but mostly it just vents any remaining turbo boost/pressure to the atmosphere instead of recycling it back into the combustion cycle as the manufacturer intended. There is just no logical way it could affect a component as far downstream as the transmission.
