Same size Tires on Staggered Rims?
Hello,
I have a 2015 c300 with the sport package (staggered tires set up)
My question is if it's possible for me to put the same size tires on the front AND the rear.
My understanding is that the rear rims are wider when compared to the front.
I'm wondering if i can put 225 width tires on the front and rear.

Are you asking if you can put 225 tires on the stock staggered rims? or asking if you can just put 225 rims & tires on the front and back?
You can absolutely put 225 rims & tires on the front and back. That's what I do for my snow setup and you cannot see a difference. The stock staggered rims are wider but they do not stick out past the front rims so no one would know if you went with the 225.

7,5 Inches 205 mm 215 or 225 mm 235 mm
8,5 Inches 225 mm 235 or 245 mm 255 mm
A 225 mm tire is the absolute minimum that a 8.5" rim can handle. I would be concerned that that tire is stretched too much and has no sidewall to protect the rim against curbing.

Separate set of rims makes changeover easier by not having to mount and dismount tires every season. Tire bead and rims can be damaged plus no rebalancing.
@RemmyZero is your winter set up on square rims?

I see, it may be too much to stretch the run flats like that.
Do you know if its possible to run 17 inch rims all across for c300's with the sport package?
I've been reading a lot of conflicting info on whether or not the rims would clear the breaks.

Chat with TireRack people if going after market for rims. Maybe dealer could try one on if you’re going with MB rims.

Is there a specific reason why you want to go with 17s? The price difference in most of the tire/wheel packages I looked at on tire rack was around $150-200 between the 17" and 18", so the price difference isn't that extreme. My understanding was that not many 17" rims would clear our calipers. Plus if this is for snow then i'd take every last bit of ground clearance you can get. Luckily I can raise mine up with the airmatic but it's not by much.

Just wondering if I can slap some thicker tires on those instead of buying a whole new set.

Ground clearance should be unaffected going from 18” to 17” if you keep the overall diameter the same (this will also prevent any speedometer offset).
