Sound system
Im choosing myself an 2015-2016 C-class and im dealing with sound system question at the moment.
I have searched from all the forums about Burmeister system quality and is it really that good, and so much more better than "usual" sound for C-class or not?
For example, i had 2010 E-class couple of years ago, what had Harman Kardon logic 7, that was really good i must say! All though i really didnt compare it with some usual sound in that time.
Now i had Audi A6 with Bose system, what was also very good. And now i have 2-3 quite good C-classes to choose from, some have leather, some half leather, some have distronic plus and etc.
But is the usual system that bad? Should i definitely choose Burmeister for my car?
And maybe last question, even if i choose car without Burmeister - how difficult or expensive is afterwards, to increase sound quality on my car?
Thanks!

The base audio system sucks. The Burmester system is adequate. A proper aftermarket upgrade of the base system will require a lot of extras and will cost about $3000 USD to do it right. Either get the Burmester or budget for an audio upgrade.
As for upgrading, you can get by with a moderate upgrade (DSP + basic speaker replacements) for < $1000. If you want to go all out do DSP+component speakers+subwoofer, then you're pushing $1500+.

First of all thank You for the answers. I was bit "afraid" of this answers
The deal is, that i have three cars quite on the same list. All them are in good condition, all them have good service history. Aftermarket car-stores that sell them, are trustworthy and etc.
Just for example: 1) car looks good (black colour with orig rims) with full leather and front seat ventilation but no burmeister. 2) has cavansit blue colour, that doesnt look so good as black car - that has semi/half leather that doesnt look so good, no ventilation, but burmeister!
And car nr 3 is a bit cheaper than first ones, one year older, has burmeister, and other extras like upper two, but first two both have airmatic suspension and webasto system aswell! That being said - i live in eastern europe, where we have 3-5months of cold weather and winter, so webasto is quite good what to have
So im dealing with a small dilemma here, thats why i asked - is the Burmeister really worth it. For first two cars i believe now most of You would say that take the Burmeister, but from another point of view, if you dont like your car outside look, and you will be bothered about it, its also quite hard. Definitely you will not overpaint it for sure
cavansite blue colour looks a bit old fashion, or i dont know how to say. Black colour for mercedes is always a wise, good choiceBut for Webasto and airmatic, i believe they will be the better choice against Burmeister, or what do You think?

The other thing I see here is you may be limiting your options as you're getting attached to a car. Maybe take a step back and expand your search (if you can) so that there aren't just three options and you get exactly what you want. When I was hunting for a car with must-have options, I looked all across North America...and ended up finding a needle in a haystack.
If you like the exterior of the other cars better, then skip the Burmester and budget extra money for an audio upgrade.
What's webasto? Is it another name for AWD?
Airmatic is OK but the stock suspension on the regular C class is pretty good.

DSP is a Digital Signal Processor. It takes the output from your factory stereo head unit and can restore it to original line level output. Some of the more advanced ones have complex settings to tweak output including digital crossovers.

Basically, you run the audio signal from the head unit to the DSP. The output from the DSP now goes to your amp(s) and from there to your speakers.
There are some really good threads on this site for doing a premium audiophile upgrade to both the base and the Burmester systems.
I'm OK with the Burmester systems in our cars. If I had the base system I would definitely upgrade it. The upgraded base system will be superior to a Burmester system if it's done right.

OP is in Eastern Europe. Local regs might limit what other EU cars can be pulled into his local market.

At the moment i still chose a car without burmester, since of listing the other extras higher than burmester.
I went for 2016 year, C 250diesel, 4matic. Black colour (at first i chose between blue also)
Full leather interior - which is really great and nice. Ventilated and heated front seats, distronic plus, 360camera, webasto(auxiliary heating) air suspension and etc.
The car is really great!
But i have driven just couple of days, so if i really have an issue with sound system - i guess i will bother you guys again, to get some advice how to upgrade sound

Thanks!
