2019 c300 wouldn't start in cold weather
There were -35 C (with wind chill) today in Calgary and had my 6 month c300 parked at work for 8 hours. Upon trying to start it, all the lights on the digital screen came up, the car didn't start and the push start button light was flashing intermittently. Tried a couple of times more then I called MB Canada. They didn't have a fix for me other than a tow truck/battery booster solutions. Few (4-5) minutes into the phone conversation with them and tried again then car started. The other thing I noticed was a loud whirring in the radar/camera device behind the mirror which lasted for a couple of minutes I called the MB service, they looked up my car and determined it didn't have a block heater. And actually these new models don't require one because of their gas injection (?) technology. While looking up this issue within the w205 on this forum I also discovered the squeaking breaks-5 year-long-thread- saga which I am also experiencing and got really concerned.
Anyone has experienced this issue and what is the proper way to start the engine (if there is one!)? There is no way to get a tow truck or carry a battery booster in this expensive car every time it's very cold outside.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues but you could easily carry a battery booster with you. The USB-type battery jumpers should easily do the trick for you. I have one in both of my cars.
Getting back to the original issues though, in that extreme cold i'm not sure what else you can do other than have the dealer look at the car because I could understand a slow start, but the car should absolutely start up. Do you have keyless-go? I've had similar problems and I believe it's related to the keyless-go system. Even recently the car did it to me several times where I had to hit the start button repeatedly to get it to respond. Sometimes it also says my key isn't detected when it's in my lap. If you have the keyless-go i'd try directly inserting the key to start it the next time this happens. The fact that the car eventually started doesn't really signify a battery issue.

that's an extreme cold weather situation, perhaps a better battery or block warmer is in order for your car
I know for mine, its an Arizona car where it gets extremely hot, so MB fitted it with a bigger AC compressor and built in rear shades. So you need the Canadian version of that.

Ah, my mistake. You know i've driven some 2019 loaners but never checked if the start button would pop off to insert the key. I hope you were able to resolve this.

Well... someone needs to cut back on their medication maybe... for North American W205 .. key FOB is inserted into the "console cubby hole" - see attached for 2020 WE205 - same place for 2019 W205
