Did you encounter any check lights before when you ran lean on fuel? It could likely be the low pressure fuel pump (LPFP) that is not supplying enough fuel to the HPFP. Had a similar issue when we were doing multiple runs on the dyno, once the heat sets in with high load..... we hit a CEL which indicated an insufficient supply from the LPFP.
Not sure if there are upgrades for our piezo injectors, for the HPFP you can look at the AMS or Spool Performance. They make upgrades for the A45, C43, C63s.
I sure did and replaced the LPFP pump and the fuel pressure regulator. After that it’s not thrown a code yet. I moved the methanol to behind the heat exchanger yesterday. That helped a ton. I will check them out.

Not racing, street car/commuter. AMR tune and hybrid turbo,DV/BOV, intake, charge pipe, downpipe, stock mid pipe, straight pipe to bumper. Some juicy carbon bits attached here and there. Looking for a methanol kit.

I am not an expert on the cla45 motor but i know the mods required for 650whp would be quite extensive and dont those have forged motors already?
What i mean is this thread is talking about just throwing meth and a turbo on and getting there. all the true amg cars like cla45 and c63 have a huge leg up on fuel systems, and engine strength. with the c43 we had to upgrade the whole fuel system (LPFP HPFP, intercooler, etc to reliably make 500+WHP). By the way, the c300 has the same LPFP as the c43 so you may want to start looking at LPFP upgrades if you want to make 500+
All i am saying is the c300 is going to need many more mods than just a big turbo and WMI to make big power consistently and reliably.

That was a smart planning choice, mine will drift every corner if I want 🤤 and no this is only the second week with new turbo and new tune, I will post my numbers when that happens though. Want to have meth too. E85 should be really exciting. Good luck with your toy and have fun!
Too bad the c43 has no eq boost. How wicked would it be to put the gls63s engine in a c43 then... À c class with the v8 engine of an e class + eq boost.
If I had money to spare i would make such a project with the e53 coupe or the cls53

yeah the piezo injectors are the same across the variants from the C63s down to the C180, same also for the A class folks....

Wossner has forged pistons for the M274 engine. For conrods, there are both good/bad reviews of the brand you intend to get. Best to just perform the counter weight tests to ensure they are all well balanced.
I have placed my nozzle just before the throttlebody, utilizing a throttle body plate to mount the nozzle.

2015 C300 lowered on BC Coils sitting on Ferrada 19x9.5 a custom 3 inch straight pipe from the turbo back and a stage 2 Tune, custom upgraded 270 amp alternator.

Installing this next week or the following
turbokits.com big turbo upgrade and full dyno tune.
once I finish the performance mods I’ll be moving on to looks and other features I wish I had.

for me, I usually start the car and quickly drive off (slowly) and get the temps up, i don't usually leave the car idle for too long if the family or myself are not in the car.....

I have the same opinion as you on placing the nozzle pre-intercooler, not ideal. You can think about placing a small cc nozzle (as part of a dual nozzle setup) for the purpose of bringing down the temps in the intercooler itself but I myself would not go too big on the nozzle size (<100cc should be sufficient). I went with the pre-throttle setup instead with a 600cc nozzle, you can find the throttle plate online and have a machine shop tap a location for the nozzle install.

Hey guys, i just came across this thread now while searching for a part. Iv done all this to my car already plus more. She runs great and she is reliable, i wouldnt say she runs anywhere close to the 400hp-600hp mark 😂, last time she was on a dyno she gave about 260hp at the wheels which is about 100hp over stock. I can get more out but i dont wanna break her, i think the engine is at its limit now. She has a lot of torque and rips hard, if im not careful the back slips out every time i put my foot down. Its a totally different car from standard once you've done all the mods and very fun to drive. If anyone needs help or info let me know. Here are some before and after pics.
