Right hand side DRL/ Parking light fault on W205 C180
The RHS DRL stopped working. Thought it was the DRL led module.
I swapped it with the LHS and it worked on the left. So the issue is not the DRL module.
I checked all voltages on connectors on both sides and they all give the same values.
The dashboard indicates either daytime running light DRL or parking light fault as it uses the same led tube.
Thank you to advise on possible causes.

After changing this module, the led light was restored. Also, you need to remove the front bumper to access this module.
I had to do it at the MB concessionaire.
Hope this can assist those with similar issues.

I have the same problem as the original post with dashboard error saying 'Left Daytime Driving Lamp' and 'Front Left Parking Lamp' warning messages
I get two error messages from a home diagnostics tools.
- The output for the standing light has a malfunction. There is a short to ground.
- Communication with the control module 'Multifunction Camera' has a malfunction.
So thoughts are now turning to the headlight module as per your experience.
Before I replace this unit though, did you run any diagnostics codes when you had the error?
Just wondering if my 'Short To Ground' error code would occur if 'led headlight module (circuit board enclosed in a heatsink casing) was also at fault in this case?
Thanks in advance.
Pete
