HELP - Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus Inoperative

I need some help. My 2016 C63 S is showing this warn: "Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus Inoperative". When starting the car the headlights make all their ballet and the Auto indication shows up in the cluster, two minutes after that I have the inop warning showing up. Headlights are working fine on low bean and high beam.

Any hint about how to solve it at home?

In case I need to change some parts, does anyone knows which parts should be replaced?

Thanks a lot!

JC

I had this issue multiple times, generally with one of two causes. One time was because of the auxiliary battery (if you don't have an aux battery error on your display, that shouldn't be the issue), and the rest of the times were due to the module up by the rear-view mirror (multi-function cameras) being faulty or a software update for that module being required. Check for codes and post back, if you can. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for shedding some light here!
I will scan the car when I have the error message showing in the cluster. This error message in the cluster clears out by itself after I turn off the car.

Ran the OBD scanner and it showed me error D1A302 - Central Electronics Driver. Is it related to the Highbeam Assis Plus Inop?

I'm definitely no expert -- but that sounds like the module that I was speaking of.

I will take it tomorrow to the shop. Let's see the bill size to fix it.

Reviving old thread to gather any good fuse info. I'm picking up a 2017 C43 from a private seller at the end of this week. It also has the D1A320 code for "communication with control unit 'multi-function camera' has a malfunction". I don't know if the head lights dance. Is this dance normal or part of the problem? This car does have option codes:
- 608 Automatic High Beam Switch
- 640 Dynamic LED Headlamps
If anyone can share where this fuse is, I'll check it when I'm picking up the car. Thanks!
