Ringing Sound With Engine Off
Well, this is weird af.
I get this ringing sound, not always, but it's been a few times.
It happens when the engine is off, maybe like 1-2 hours after driving.
Does anyone ever experience anything like this?

I think I only hear it on hot days or after driving for long periods. Never in winter.
Sound like a tea kettle.

My CLS does the same thing. Definitely happens in the summer and I hear it in the cabin as well as the exterior of the vehicle. It happens both when the engine is running or off. I find that if I tap the brake peddle, or pull on it from behind with my foot, the beep will stop temporarily....
there have been days where it’s driven me nuts. I have brought it to the dealer, but they couldn’t replicate the issue as it seems to occur after driving for a couple of hours. They just assumed the brake peddle was squeaking and greased the linkage...
It would be great to find the fix for this!!!
