C300 4 matic suddenly veers to the left
I have a 2015 C300 AMG sport and owned it since new.
i have recently found an issue where driving along the road, if I come across some slightly uneven road or a bit bumpy, the car veers to one side.
the steering wheel remains straight but the sensation is that the car is steering to the side.
it definitely is not the wheels being moved in a direction by the bumpy or uneven road, as the steering wheel remains straight, and has no feeling of pressure on the steering wheel trying to be forced around.
the garage has checked and the vehicle is mechanically sound and there are no warning lights on, and no related error codes from the diagnostics.
it seems intermittent and doesn’t happen across the same bit of road every time, nor is it always the same sensation throughout a drive.
im hoping someone can point me in the right direction?
cheers

I remember reading something in our manual about a "crosswind assist" feature, or something like that, whereas the car's systems will detect side loads and apply light braking on one side of the vehicle to counteract those forces.
Could it be a possibility this system is coming into play here, or somehow you are getting momentary brake friction on one side?

My car only does that if Distronic Plus and Steering Assist are on and it sees an extra turn lane (line). It will try to move into the lane.
It happens most often if I am following a car and the car moves into the turn lane. (it's kinda annoying)

Maybe a buckle in the wheel? It’s hard to spot unless you have trained eyes. When I had my wheels repaired, I was told that one of the wheels had a buckle in it and later a crack.... sadly I don’t know if the crack had been there or they accidentally dropped it and shifted the blame onto me.
when I replaced the tires, the tire shop didn’t notice/mention the buckle
