iOS 14 & COMAND
Anyone else updated to iOS 14 and find that they've lost text message functionality for COMAND? COMAND is now telling me that text message functionality is not available on my phone.
I have a ticket in with MBUSA, but was interested to hear if anyone else has run into the same issue.

What year is your W205? I'm in a US MY2019 and have NTG 5.5...
I have indeed removed them both and tried repairing, but will give it another go this evening to be 100% sure.

Update: I “forgot” both devices through Bluetooth on the car and the phone. I paired the devices again and still had the same issue.
After a hard reset on the phone, I was able to at least see the “enable notifications” under the iPhone Bluetooth settings for my car’s Bluetooth profile. While initially text messages were still not displaying, a disconnect and reconnect of Bluetooth Broich text messages back to life.
Thanks for the recommendation to fiddle with the car and phone again—it led me down this path 😁

Look - this is a common "fix" - your "old connection" needs to be removed from each side - both from your iPhone and from your MB - then each side needs to be turned off - power off your iPhone and power off your MB - then turn each side back on and make "new" connection

I have similar issues with an android phone. With the latest Comand 5.5 I only get a text message alert icon show up on the display if a message is received when the phone is in the car unlike my earlier 205 with Audio 20 which notified me of all new messages, ones received when away from the car but unread. I can find new messages when I go into the menu but no screen top icons.
