hey guys I hope ya can help me out the other day i just parked my car like always next morning it just stop i tried my media and radio everything okay but sound doesnt come out from the speakers I alredy reset the car i took out the fuses for 10mins i check all of them and even replaced my burmester amplifier and still nothing my guy connected the car to scanner and it say that the muting cable has a short circuit but nothing of finding this cable please been 3 weeks with no music im going crazy

Try resetting the comand by pressing eject for 10 seconds.

You don't have the volume wheel stuck in the pressed position do you?

no still smooth and tried with the steering wheels bottoms nothing

I guess the next thing to do would be to locate the mute cable going to the back of the head unit and remove it. It's probably shorted to ground somewhere. Google seems to think it's yellow 🤷‍♂️.

It was the amplifier. located at your trunk by the passenger side. The problem is when you open your trunk and is raining theres alot of risk of getting wet because of the exposure.
I bought 1 on ebay and put it myself had my sound back right away.
