Swaped center console - one connector I cant localize

Stupidly I didn't do the whole swap at the same time. I removed the old center console a couple of days ago and today I went back to the car to put the new in.

Now I have one cable with connector that I cant find the mating socket for? Does anybody know where it should go? Hopefully something obvious but the lights a bit dim in the garage, and sorry for the lousy pics

The thing is, that the one I'm putting back is the original console. I'm trading the car so I have removed the one I've put in the car about three years ago (black ash from a GLC). So the console is the right one

This place is a joke.
It might be the keyless go antenna. Look for a long slender box slightly larger than a cigarette lighter. That antenna usually tucks up behind the ashtray or cupholder cutout.

There's also another slightly hidden connection for the hazard light switch area, up high on the wood trim.

Went and tried again to fint a corresponding socket. But nope, no luck. Have tried all buttons and wheel, and everything seems to work just fine. Strange.

Here you go. Its always the last connector I plug in and is always the hardest to find without being able to see.

its a notched connector and you have to hold it the right orientation, all while holding up the console and also while trying find the hole on the bottom.

I use a small mirror and led head lamp.

That's the keyless GO antenna I mentioned earlier. Maybe the O.P. did not swap the antenna from the old console to the new one, hence the reason he can't find the place to plug into!

Thank you all! Found it! Lesson to be learned. Document everything, cause you aint gonna remember after a couple of years

On a side note. The car still found the key even though the antenna wasn't connected.

Good job! If there's a failure to the console KG antenna, the car will default to the door antennas as a back up.
