Brake upgrade?
Hello, I purchased a 2021 C300 4Matic that has the cheap calipers. I want to purchase aftermarket wheels but need to upgrade the calipers first.
Can I purchase used calipers from previous years? I don't want/need $4000 Brembos. Any tips or info is appreciated!

I’ve been considering doing this “mod” it’s basically stock “Brembo” brakes, if I do get a set of either c43/c400/c450 same thing, is it a plug and play or do I need a bracket? My wheels are 19x8.5 +35 square set up, should clear. Thanks!

I have a 2021 C300 AMG LINE with 18” 5-spokes which comes with the cheap looking brakes. I was able to find a cheap set of 2020 C300 AMG line package calipers which are 4 pot.
Someone here mentioned that the C43 uses 360mm rotors. I think the ‘21 C300 uses 330mm, but the ‘20 C300 AMG LINE uses slotted 342mm.
I’m going to buy the Mercedes genuine slotted 342mm rotors and pads, but do I need anything else?? It should be plug and play right?

For anyone looking to run the larger 360mm front rotors, I have a set of front calipers for sale that will bolt up to all W205 (except the C63) front caliper brackets and work with the 360mm rotors

Beyond the calipers, you would need new front 360mm rotors and pads for a C43.
