Range of a W/S205 C220D? Mercedes Me app discrepancy.
Hi all, im still getting to grips with my new S205 C220D and was wondering what to expect range wise realistically from a full tank of diesel?
I did my first fuel top up today and the car itself and the Mercedes Me trip data are saying 343 miles which seems stupidly low. However the front page menu of the mercedes Me app is saying 552 miles which is closer to what I would expect. Wondering why the discrepancy?

Well I did my 440 mile trip in one tank. JUST! Rolled into the fuel station with the red refuel warning blaring! But averaged 53mpg over the 7 hour drive, most of which was on the motorway at 70mph on cruise control. So the mpg i was getting and the 440 miles traved ties in with the 40 litre (9ish Gallon) tank size.
The trip data in the car sat around 300 miles range and didnt really change until I got to about half a tank when it started counting down as I would have expected. I refueled when I arrived last night and the trip data is now reflecting more accuratley (see pics below), however there is still a discrepancy between the front page of the app and the trip data page (which agrees with the car dashboard). Wow 440 miles. Man dats really good for a car this size. I wish mine did as much. I wouldn't worry about this discrepancy now good you made this trip. I assume your car is manual?
