Hi All-
Getting into a new C300 and am considering either the Polar White or the Iridium Silver.
Despite loving the look, I've been unimpressed with the quality and longevity of white cars in the past (not MB), so turning to the forum for real-use experience.
Does the white tend to fade or does it maintain its original brightness? Do bumper scratches show black underneath? And coming from a black C300 which looks dirty within 24 hours and shows absolutely everything, -- how does that compare to the white?
Appreciate any thoughts or reccos!

polar white I think is the non metallic color. I know some people with other makes have had problems with white paint. Haven’t seen anything on these forums yet. Hope someone will chime in.
I haven’t heard of any issues with polar white, but just as an opinion I’d say go for silver. White cars are everywhere, and the silver just fits the W205 chassis so well.
In recent years I've had several silver, one white, and one medium blue car. I've seen no noticeable fade with either. Living in the desert, my cars get dusty before they get dirty. Silver hides the dust well but surprisingly to me, white is even better. What shows after a stone hit depends on what's underneath. Silver for metal but plastic depends on the plastic color. I've gone to front clearbras for all of my cars. The difference in summer heat load on the AC was dramatic going from blue to white. My car cooled down much faster. Silver was between the two.

Mine is 2015 polar white. No fading at all. It doesn't look dirty easily. I wash it every 2 weeks. If you went for white think of blacking out as many components as you can as white/black gives a good contrast. For example you might want to have black mirror covers, diffuser, front lip, diamond grill ect...
I live in Australia where the sun is pretty harsh, mine is 6 years old now and still holding up ok. I polish it once a year and keep it clean to remove the city grime

I like those exhaust pipes. Are they silver or black? Can you post a picture square on from the back showing the whole rear of the car?

Thanks. The exhaust pipes are chrome. They came along with the diffuser as one set. The diffuser + exhaust pipes are the facelift AMG C43. It was an easy remove and install procedure. I guess because my car is an AMG line. Here is the link of Kunzmann where I bought the set from. These guys are based in Germany, they only sell MB OEM parts. Sadly they only ship within Europe.

Thanks. The middle view is what I was looking for. Your pictures are always cropped at the trunk trim. So it's a C43 diffuser and tips. I like the round pipes. Much better than mine. Did you put C43 badges on your C200 as well?
My 2016 is Polar White and it has not faded at all. I was concerned about that so I just had the whole car including the diamond grill, and all the glass including the roof ceramic coated which has UV protectant in it. No problems with the wipers chattering on the windshield either. Even with the upgraded ceramic brakes the brake dust was still hard to get off so I had all four wheels were taken off and coated on the inside and the front as well, now the brake dust rinses off with a garden hose. What little road grime manages to stick to it ie bugs, bird **** and even road tar washes right off. When I do wash it all I use a leaf blower to dry it because the water runs off it that quickly. Love polar White and Ceramic coating.
Sorry for reviving an old thread. Ive had silver w203 and w204 and love the color vs white. But have been in the market for a w205 and landed on a white c400. I really wanted silver but c400 in silver are so rare. How are the whites holding up?

I don’t know what you mean by holding up. You pick the color you want. Ok, I read it. Sorry.
