3D speaker issue

Hey everyone, i got me some 3d rotatory speakers
(Burmeister copy) and they work flawlessly except they don’t rotate.

In early 2015 models, port 6 does not have all pins, causing it not to rotate, everything besides that works, anyone know a way to fix this?

will adding pins on the door module fix this? But since no power would be going to those pins I don’t know how it would.

thank you! (Im super desperate at this point)

you sure your speaker works? As in the rotatory? Coz the blue plug with extra pins got nothing to do with power other then sending power to rear door. Can you post your 3d rotatory speaker full pic too see your harness? What did your seller say? Did you buy the correct part for your car?

Any how post the pic to see if we can bypass the blue plug

hello thanks for the reply, yes the speaker has sound + the ambient light works except there is no rotation whatsoever.

The seller just contacted me saying that i should solder some pins and it should work, asked him what type of pins and no answer unfortunately.

will take it apart to take pictures.

I guess I’m confused. What do you do? Sit in the car and watch them spin? I guess I don’t understand the point.

they’re supposed to rotate out of their sockets on ignition, i know it’s a small detail but since i paid the price of the speakers I think I’d want them to do everything they’re designed to do.

seller wasn’t that helpful so I’d thought i could fix it with the help of other members

Why not? I think dats what they do on an E and S class. Also the air vents are factory illuminated on several classes. So our friends the Chinese created products that make you feel driving an S class 🤷

I saw a video about a new S class. I saw the speaker pop out then back in. Just because you can do something doesn’t necessarily mean you should. Think about it. OP is super desperate because his car speaker won’t rotate. Whatever floats your boat.

I think you should carefully read the OP response to your comment he already bought the products and he wants to use them hopefully they will work. Let us wish him luck.

Dude you ok? you’re slowly getting off topic, this has nothing to do with the new s class, the speakers been out since 2018.

I don’t know why it’s hard for you to comprehend. It’s pretty simple, I bought a speaker, it’s missing a function (regardless if it was lighting/rotation), and i think it can be fixed. So why not try?

Why is that so hard for you to understand? Why even bother getting on this thread? I’m intrigued

I only mentioned the S class because that was the first time I had even heard of popping out or rotating speakers. I didn’t know that was a thing. I have no problem comprehending why you want a function to work. I just don’t see the point. Just like I don’t see the point in 50 different colors of ambient lighting. But that’s a thing now also. Maybe because I’m old. I love tech. I had one of the first PCs. I’ve just always thought functions should have a purpose.
