Why do my wiper blades stutter?
Dealer said I just needed a replacement. I bought the bosch set and they fit perfect, but stutter still remains and is more intensified. I am thinking the rain x might have something to do with it. Anybody had this problem? Thanks for your input.

I agree with Plutoe, even though the MB wiper blades are a bit pricey (about $95) it's probably worth it in the long run to stick with them.
Also, there's a possibility your windshield may have some contaminants built-up making the glass surface rough.
You may want to try claying your windshield if it feels a little rough. Something like this:

Yes, my rain x coated ones does the same on a number of cars. I believe a thorough clean and reapplication will help, though I've not tried as it doesn't rain much where I am.

Rubber can dry up quickly depending on how much direct sunlight, heat, pollutants, etc. Also don't forget to ask how long the blades have been on the shelf.
I have installed blades before that my shop gifted me (probably sitting around forever) and they never fit right and always stuttered. I finally paid up for OEM blades and they were noise-free and fit 100%.

the noise is due to the angle of the wipper arms being WRONG.
My car was doing it already at 10kMi with all new parts... I thought it was ridiculous from a new car.
Ask Google for videos how to adjust this angle. Note that from the bottom to the top this angle varies... that's what need to be adjusted to wipe properly with zero noise.

A few years ago I accepted a surprise MB complimentary wiper blade offer. They have never stuttered. It's my wife's car - if it's not taking her shopping - it's in our garage (very little sun exposure).
But then again California - as of late - gets very little rain. Perhaps I should budget $95 for continued driver visibility.
It's all good,

My MB branded wipers stutter after any car wash containing a wax component. Very annoying, but a little bit of white vinegar and water on a cloth strips the wax and stops the stutter.
