I like the luxury and style. Also this new rear wheels steering system is quite interesting. I heard Matt saying that the new C63 will be a 4 cylinder hybrid 🤦🏼♂️ i wonder how it will sound like compared to the good old V8 Bi turbo 🤷🏻♂️

1986 Light Ivory R107 560SL, 2020 Lunar Blue W205 C300 AMG-line
The whole car seems to be an upgrade over the current gen for the most part. The interior is absolutely stunning. For the most part the materials seem to be an upgrade minus the amount of hard scratchy plastic. Our W205s don’t have hard scratchy plastic in those areas, that’s a let down. My current car is a lunar blue with night package car, but after seeing MercedesBenzKing’s video of a silver AMG line without the black out, I feel that light colors and chrome help to make this thing look more high end, and “finished” if that makes sense. The black exterior trim seems cheap on this W206 instead of sporty like it did on the W205 imo. Also not a fan of the matte grey on this car, which I usually love. The silver one with chrome I was watching was gorgeous imo.
The 4 banger hybrid C63 is true unfortunately and it’s sad, but also exciting to see how well it will be executed. It’s gonna have a peak hp of 650 hp, and the battery will be using a pretty much direct copy over of their F1 hybrid tech.

650 hp vs 510 hp that is quite impressive but from a personal perspective give me back the sound of an AMG V8 Bi turbo and will be happy to keep my 510 hp. Another thing are we heading towards a pure battery C63? 🤷🤦🏼♂️

Your are right about light colour and chrome. It brings definition to the car.

It does sound impressive, but the devil is in the detail. The 650 hp peak power is only available for 10 seconds. It's like the boost mode that many performance BEVs now have like the Taycan, but it's not clear yet under what conditions you get to tap into the 650 hp. With the Taycan etc. the boost mode is only available during launch control. The sustained power of the next C63 is 540 hp. That's slightly up, but then you also need to know that it's gonna weigh 500 lbs more than the current one. So all that extra power goes towards moving all that extra weight. It's gonna weigh about as much as the current E.

Yeah, when they unveiled the new C Class in Germany, they themselves drew the parallels to the S Class. MB's design language always centered around the S Class, and then was adapted to the other models. This is not particularly new. We are kinda back to the different length sausages as far as German car design is concerned.

It's a shame all sedans look the same now but the new models look good and unlike the s class it's horrible screen in the c it looks alright.
I will keep my 205 for a few more years and see how rules here in Europe develop in regards to banning fossil fuel engines... After maybe go for the upcoming cle or whatever they will call it. For a pure electric car I feel no love and I think the current models will be extremely outdated in terms of charging and range VS what we get in a few years
