Removing rear vents

Does anyone know how to remove the rear vents? I've been doing an LED vent install and am pretty much done but but I cannot for the life of me get the rear vents console out. I was able to get the top part to pull out but the rest of it refused to come out and I don't want to break the entire thing. I've watched flexes video and it seems to come out really easy and I can say mine is not. Anyone have any experience? Thanks!

My car is the 2021 sedan, so it may be different as mine doesn't have cup holders up there. Also, when the top popped out on mine there was only about a half inch separation and it wouldn't come out any more.

Yes, it's to do the ambient light vents. I've done everything else but haven't figured out how to remove these.

Yes, I was able to get them off. If I remember correctly you have to pull really hard pull out and up after the top comes off. It took quite a bit of force, but then breaks free.
