In all seriousness though, it should arrive in North America starting at $43,550 USD for the Premium Trim, $45,800 USD Exclusive Trim and Pinnacle Trim $47,500 USD near the end of Q1 to early Q2, so likely spring.

Nice, I thought it is not available in the USA until Q2? Q1 hasn't ended yet and dealerships are getting shipments already? That is pretty neat, thanks for the pictures btw. Do you mind posting more?

I have done a test drive with a 300d and i have to say there is not 1 thing that Comes to mind where i can say the 205 is better. Compare that to when i made the switch from the 204 to the 205 where almost everything felt better from the 204 and the 205 really had to grow on me.

I have done a test drive with a 300d and i have to say there is not 1 thing that Comes to mind where i can say the 205 is better. Compare that to when i made the switch from the 204 to the 205 where almost everything felt better from the 204 and the 205 really had to grow on me.
Although, the 205 grew on me quickly since it was more advanced and has all of those intelligent safety features like distronic and blind spot. I just wish the engine sounded better.

True but if they could figure out something, it will help with the excessive drain to the batteries and shortening the lifespan of them which gets further worsen when it sits on the dealership lots for weeks to months.
Thank goodness these batteries aren't lithium-ion ones but I think the over discharge of AGM batteries will harm it too.
There are numerous 12V battery issues for newly delivered W223 and face-lift W213 posted on this forum for example and the battery was sometimes discharged to the point that a simple charge wasn't able to fix it, these issues on top of the 48V battery issue.
If not trickle charge, the very least they should put the vehicles in standby mode when it is en route to North America.
Alternatively, they should disconnect the battery (probably the worse method though).
