Sunglasses compartment way too small

Hi,

I am wondering how others are making use of the sunglasses compartment.
I have a pair of "standard" size sunglasses, not too big, not too thin, and it won't fit into the sunglasses compartment on C300 (W205).
I am keeping the sunglasses in the storage compartment but would prefer to use the designated sunglasses compartment.
Did you opt to buy a pair of sunglasses that would fit in or just ended up using other storage areas?
And are there any alternative or clever use for this tiny sunglasses compartment? I have read people keeping their weed and stuff but I would prefer examples of legal usage.

I keep my sunglasses in it. My Ray-Ban fit just fine. I had to line it with some adhesive felt, though, otherwise they rattled in there at night.

I have the RB3445 if you are curious. They are polarized.

This place is a joke.
Buy smaller sunglasses. You're not a rock star.

There are enough irritations in the world already.

Why don't you just go away and quietly "satisfy" yourself?

Yeah, I have the same problem. I just leave my glasses in my middle arm rest or in the glove box. I wear Prada sunglasses and they don't fit at all in the Sun Glasses compartment.

Frustrated that the best you could do was a "C" class?

I gave up using it as it was adding rattle overhead.

I have a pair of Ray-Bans that rattled until I flipped them upside down in the holder.

As I mentioned, I used adhesive felt and lined the plastic surfaces with it. No more rattles.
