Probably doesn't meet your space requirements but CLS400 also works
I was looking at CLS's and I really like everything about them... except for I just can't warm-up to the rear-end. For me, it's too rounded for my taste and those 2 rear bumper blisters that stick out would drive me crazy. I don't know why they did that. Boo.

Save yourself some coin and get a 218 instead of a 257
It is done!!! Sadly, I traded-in my C300 about 7 hours ago. It may sound silly to some but I do get attached to the right cars and my C300 was one. I let it go as-is, except for I swapped the stock steering wheel back and kept the 2019 AMG one I was running.
It was sad until I drove my new-to-me car. OMG.
And it's a relief to me to stop worrying about my M274.
I'll leave a picture I took right after I drove it off the lot so y'all can guess what I bought, lol.
Didn't ur new car come with an amg wheel?
Or just the regular e class wheel ?
Yes. I primarily took off the 2019 wheel because I try to think of the new owner and leave a car good for them. Since the 2019 wheel has the cruise control buttons on the wheel that don't work for the older models, I didn't want anyone to get confused or think something was broken (including the trade-in appraiser), so I removed it. Plus I really like the wheel. I may just hang it up in my garage, lol.

Congrats, and yup that is a an E 43 alright, the suspension buttons and the manual button in the centre console, the pre-2019 steering wheel, and the gauges although that screen was also available on the E 450 If I remembered correctly, unless I am totally wrong and this is an E 63 S (but I don't see an IWC clock) ?

Bumperettes are only on North American MB coupe models. EU ones are way cleaner.

This doesn't matter much to me, as I'm not a fan of loud 4 cylinders or V6's, they sound like farm tractor motors to me. Just my opinion! If y'all like it, cool. I'm more of a V8 exhaust note fan. I must say though, the new straight 6 sounds really sweet.
I'm also not a fan of the extreme pops and bang trend. Again, just my personal opinion and taste. This used to mean you have bad timing and something is wrong with your car... this is still the way my ears hear it. :p
Yup the E 43 doesn't have PE, the E 53 brought it but then it also brought the complicated mild-hybrid system but also added a supercharger oh and it became an inline-6.
Congrats on your new vehicle man enjoy in good health!

Fortunately I did not need a car. Note, I never received a reply from Germany.
Shortly after agreeing to repair my car they advised they needed to replace the engine (also at their expense). A courtesy car was included the same day as they began their works (2 months). Not a sorry or anything of the kind when I picked it up, it did not even get the standard car wash.
What now annoys me is that what I thought was a "New Engine" is in fact just a "Long Block (in which the entire crank assembly including the cylinder head, valves, injection and much more have been completely overhauled and installed using only MB Genuine Parts), compared to a New Engine or New Basic Engine or Basic Engine or Long Block Plus. In short Long Block replacements are a “remanufactured engine” that does not get tested on the manufactures test stand before been sent to the dealership. You can learn more about that at b2bconnect.mercedes-benz.com/gb/products/remanufactured-parts/cars/engines/basic-engine
Even more annoying is that the this Long Block from the "new engine number” 454,306 provided appears to have been produced 86,479 before my failed engine “540,758" OR approx. 47,704 after MB modified their faulty wrist pins that were installed as of engines in 2015 engine number 274 920 30 406 602 on which leads me to believe this engine may have been produced in 2016-2017 ??
Someone please correct me if my understanding about the engine number is incorrect.
Anyway its now been 5 months and with 2,002 km on the engine and is already more noisey on cold starts that the original engine. Transmission also notably louder. I don’t know what to do, I just know I don’t trust this engine, or MB and I will never buy another MB again. Is it all in my head or should I flick it.
If you are interested in what a new m274 long block sounds like with 2,002 km you can download my videos at recorded on a iPhone 101a M274 2018 Cold Start 3m 30sec - 37-40 deg celsius.mov https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0...40_deg_celsius
No warranty was offered on the new long block as it was done under warranty.MB also returned it with a broken PVC line (crank case vent line) and a torn aftermarket pod air filter. Fortunately as soon as I drove it the 2k drive home I inspected their workmanship. Had I not caught this vent line it would not have been too long before I was back for another engine replacement.
Sorry to hear that I think I read your other thread and it was a happy ending after all? If so, nice!

Wow, you obviously know your Mercedeseses!
Good eye and knowledge... you are exactly right. I got a 2018 AMG E43. Yay!
I was trying to avoid a black interior but I found a local car with a straight body, perfect gaps, all service records and heavily optioned. Plus at a price I really couldn't pass up.
It has "all the buttons", DISTRONIC, HUD, etc. and cooled seats (something I was looking for), factory 20's, and the carbon fiber interior package... which looks much better in person than pics. I've never really been a fan of carbon fiber, but this is beautiful in person.

I'm extremely happy!!!
It has 52K miles and I paid 42K for it.
Very nice spec this is what I call fully loaded, the carbon fibre is very tasteful! Congrats and enjoy in good health!
Actually... might not be a good thing I know too much, I realized I am on the forum too much to have that knowledge and don't dedicate my time to family enough.

Thanks dude! Your family needs to understand you're doing important work here, lol.
I love the cf that runs the doors and lower dash!
led vents??
Me too, I didn't think I would like the CF until I saw it in person. It's definitely not the vinyl sticker stuff. ;p
No LED vents, but I'm sure I'll fix that. I have a higher priority list I need to get through first:
The car has Goodyear F1 runflats I'm totally not happy with. They ride like s**t, not as grippy as I like and they are loud as F. With the windows down, it sounds like I'm driving a lifted F350 with mudders, lol. I'll replace these with Michelin Pilot Sport AS4's.
Replace air filters, oil & filter, spark plugs and ignition coils.
Replace brake rotors and pads.
Lowering module.
I'm going to run the stock wheels for a while, so I need 5mm or 10mm spacers and extended lugs to push them out a bit.
Replace the rear diffuser with either a E63 or E53 diffuser with chrome tips.
On-premise dyno tune by Eurocharged Orlando.
Paint correction and coating.
After this I can think about LEDs, I need more money, lol.
