Mercedes C300 - Transmission shifts hard
The problem started while exiting an extremely challenging driveway onto a busy road. (Driveway is a couple inches higher than the road, requires a sharp 90 degree turn and then quick acceleration). Every car I've ever driven on this driveway 'feels' likes its, torquing the frame, and the tires always chirp on it.
Immediately exiting the driveway, the transmission seemingly got confused, shifting in-between gears extremely hard and somewhat erroneously. The gear switch is so hard my neck is slammed forward then backwards, slamming into the head restraint quite hard. No warning/error messages appeared on the screen.
This problem mostly occurs in Sport mode and with fast acceleration. It's been on Comfort mode for the last 300 miles (driving in-between Houston and Austin, and all around town) and have had no problems with the transmission.
What could the matter be, and it's fix?
UPDATE: In hindsight and retrospect, I was switching drive mode from "C" to "S" at, or within a fraction of a second of, that challenging driveway, never having coming to a full stop. And the problem only happened on that one day 2 weeks ago, has not reoccurred, I can't get it to reproduce. Perhaps I just confused it's computer one day?!?! 🤦♂️ Like fixing computer problems.. just restart it. I'm good with crashing computers. IDK.

Previous owner drove it as a sedan... current owner a MANiac ,, if I'm mansplaining correctly.
I drive it normal - it acts normal. I drive it like me , problems persist.

Just brilliant German engineering... I love how it automatically goes into 'limp mode' or 'protection mode' after this ... limiting RPM and downshifting. Amazing!$39 plastic tube lookin' device.
It only happens on those pesky 90^ driveways with asphalt height differences. Disconnect battery for 10 minutes. Problem solved.
The cars work FINE .... onto fixing our roads. 🏁
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I called in advance - they had 3 sensors in stock - $67 part. A few more hundred all in.
The car runs fine now; and best of all, it's getting used to my driving style.

What did they fix/changed? Do you mind posting the work order or at least part of the work order that shows what they done and the parts replaced with the part numbers, thanks!
A: Haha... No way!! While the 2023-2024 A-Class only had better inside Ambient Lighting, and reverse camera... my ole 2015 C300 was better in EVERY. Single. Other. Way. I LOVE this car!
Q: What did they fix/changed?
A: Just that one single sensor.

A: Picture of the receipt showing "service name" attached. Picture of codes from video screen grabs.
And here's a great video the tech sent (it has part numbers, codes, history of same issue in 2017, recommendations, fixes, etc. etc.).
I covered the VIN in the video.
He busted me for having someone else test wire voltage (by crimping) and then replaced H.P. fuel pump.
Just awesome work by Mercedes dealer service center.
