New Ultra-Thin Android 13 12.3" Screen Snapdragon 685 8-core 8GB RAM 128GB ROM

It appears to have a sleep mode. But it does this randomly.
Most times I shut off the car, run into the store, come back 20 minutes and it boots up completely when I start the car
I started the car this morning and the screen just turned on and the previously playing video continued playing.
No boot up.
. The car has been off and locked overnight.I hope this new sleep technology and not a bug.

I will ask the seller and vendor.

Any better then the Older Android 10/11 style units?
I always had an issue with audio lag until i switch to an independent Carlinkit Dongle.
I downloaded Youtube and played a video. No audio lag.
I played a movie from the screen. No audio lag.
Can you tell me how you experienced the audio lag? Then I can check.

The sellers all appear to be using the same aux box model. USB AUX 88369. They are $20 on Aliexpress.
I just remembered that I swapped out my Burmester amplifier and installed an AudioTec Fischer Helix V Twelve DSP + Nav-TV Zen-M .
So maybe that's why I don't have audio lag? Not sure.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

When does this audio lag occur? With YouTube, Video Player, Carplay or Android Auto?

You can also just add it to your existing quad lock adapter.

Found it.
Well according to his video the audio lag is only with Panasonic head units. Mine says HARMON.
Also, it appears that there are two kinds of DSP kits.
A DSP for cars without Burmester (optical) which connects to the back of the head unit
The other DSP connects to the Burmester amp in the trunk.
So is the Burmester AMP still in the loop?

Do you have issue of the audio sound delay after upgrading android screen on the Mercedes BENZ NTG5.0 system? We have solution for you by adding DSP amplifier box.
First, let’s learn about the details of Mercedes BENZ NTG5.0 system:
Between the year of 2014 and 2018, the Mercedes systems include NTG5.0,NTG5.1 and NTG5.2. These three systems can use the same Android screen replacement for installation, with the same cables and base. It is only choose different CAN protocol and vehicle display in factory settings correspondingly
The NTG5.0 system models include below car models : C-Class, GLC, A-Class, CLA, GLA, E-Class, CLS, B-Class, V-Class, SLK, GLE, and GLS. For models like the Mercedes A-Class and GLA, their panels are similar to NTG4.5, so it is generally more accurate to confirm the system through the original car CD host panel and radio menu.
For more information on distinguishing Mercedes systems, please refer to the following link for detailed explanations:
It should be noted that Mercedes C-Class, GLC, and V-Class from 2019 onwards are equipped with NTG5.5/6.0 systems. However, some individual models have original car menus that are similar to NTG5.0/5.2. The distinction between these systems can also be confirmed through the original car panel. The NTG5.0/5.2 main unit panel has a CD slot, while the NTG5.5/6.0 cars do not have a CD slot, as shown in the figure below.
Mercedes NTG5.0 models do not have AUX input, so after installing the Android navigation, the sound can only enter the original car through a USB audio adapter. This can easily cause a delay due to multiple conversions. Because there are many types of original car hosts for Mercedes NTG5.0, general brands like Harman and Mitsubishi do not have this problem, but Panasonic brand hosts are more obviously.
The delay is mainly evident when playing videos, with a delay of about 2-3 seconds. This is caused by certain brands of original car hosts. After installing the screen replacement machine, this delay is considered normal.
However, to avoid the problem of asynchronous sound and image, the solution is to install the brand DSP amplifier DSP100, without using a USB audio adapter. Installing the DSP100 amplifier can perfectly solve the delay issue, and the DSP100 amplifier requires dedicated cables for installation.
The following describes the wiring method and related settings for the DSP100 amplifier.
3. The following is the wiring diagram for NTG5.0/5.1/5.2:
Android factory mode Amplifier selection: Aftermarket Amplifler
Routes:Settings-Factory(Key 2018)-Function-Amplifler Selection-Aftermarket Amplifler
Wait 10 seconds after the setting is completed then press the reset button on the machine panel to restart the machine and you’re done
Note:
(1) The model of the DSP amplifier box is DSP100, which can be used for installation in NTG5.0/5.1/5.2 with the same set of cables. It can also be installed in 5.5/6.0 cars with different cables.
(2) The DSP100 is only suitable for installation in ordinary cars without the Burmester sound system. Cars with the Burmester sound system require a different amplifier and cables. The presence of the Burmester sound system can be distinguished by the speaker cover on the car door.
4. Most NTG5 cars also have fiber optics. If there is fiber optics in the car, it is necessary to jump the fiber optics, otherwise, both the original car and the Android will have no sound.

Did you get any information regarding wether the screen drains the battery when the car is turned off? I just purchased it and am wondering the same thing.
