The 2G network shutdown in Sweden
hi guys, just a general question since I couldnt find an answer anywhere so far. 2G and 3G networks are shutting down in Sweden and my cars online functions have all stopped working. Is there any ways to change/upgrade the SIM module in my 2015 c220d w205 to regain connectivity to 4g? I know its a longshot but there is some geniuses out there that can do magic. Thanks in advance!

Depending on VIN number there is a procedure in Xentry.
You can ask your dealer about retrofit LTE or change the Hermes module.
Anyway, even after all set the App will be very limited.

Is it worth it? Is there any real OTA software or map updates for a 2015 C class? I don't even know if there is any actual remote use cases for it, my previous car could share location, heat up or cool down and lock/unlock. I got this car post screwed so I am not sure what functions i would get back (if any)

No OTA or Map updates over the App for your model. The last available Map Version for EU is V15 2021 and for that I can offer a free Activation Code ( if your car is equipped with Comand system). Very easy to update yourself, you can browse between my messages should be some users that explain the procedure.
