SRS Fault
Looking for some advice on a persistent SRS issue with my Mercedes W205 C-Class. The car is throwing the following fault:
"Right Front Door Crash Sensor There is a short circuit to positive or an open circuit (B009615)."
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Replaced the right front door crash sensor with a brand-new Mercedes part.
- Cleared the codes using Xentry, but the fault returns instantly.
- Visually inspected the wiring and connectors – no obvious damage or corrosion found.
I have also checked fuses.
I have attached pictures :-)
Any help or suggestions would be massively appreciated before I book it into the dealer.
Thanks in advance!

Your door SRS sensor has an open circuit despite new part being installed.
You will need to figure where this harness connection gets bad.
Use the WIS schematic diagram. It will show you exactly where the sensor harness run.
Another hour and you should be all set.

+++ HARNESS QUESTION...
homerun by itself to SRS Module ?
or networked by solderless door module ?
