Rear Trunk Due to Tint Warranty Denied
I then brought it to another dealership and they were able to warranty the repair, however, the part takes 2 months to get here and they can't put me into a loaner for that long. I then contacted Mercedes-Benz USA and tried to bring the issue to them, but not only did they not help me resolve the issue, the acting customer service manager also recorded the call and denied any possible warranty repair due to the tint.
The vehicle was tinted at an authorized Raynofilm tint installer. I've had other Mercedes installed tint there and many other vehicles tinted there so I know they are a very reputable shop.
Have any of you had a similar situation? I've seen another thread talking about the tint but if its such a common problem shouldn't they at least inform us when purchasing the car? Is there something I can do at this point?
