SA894 Premium Plus Ambient Illumination aka Enhanced ambient light, Original Retrofit
Today we are retrofit SA894 Premium Plus Ambient Illumination aka Enhanced ambient light for one C180 W206, 2024, RHD
This car comes with SA891, Premium Ambient Illumination (22 Lights in total), Customer not happy with this SA891, so he decided to upgrade to SA894 Premium Plus Ambient Illumination (extra 24 lights, means 46 lights in total).
Here you go, we are doing one car now, pure original upgrade, you will get extra 24 lights
5 AC vents, 10 lights
Dash panel big, 3 light, Dash panel small: 1 light
Center Console panel left and right: 2 lights
Door handle x 4: 8 lights
In ambient light menu: you will get 12 multicolour combinations (from 10 *), you will have 3-zone brightness control (from 2-zone), you will get extra climate effect (red/blue ambient light when increase/decrease AC temperature).
Was this retrofit for the 2023 GLC or the 2024 GLC?
and does it matter if it’s the regular or coupe?
And how would someone in the US get this done? Would you guys sell the parts?
2023 or 2024 shares same parts and wiring and coding.
The reason why people differentiate 2023 or 2024, it is because they are installing non-Original AC Vents because the tapping point at footwell has different connector. But if you install original kit like I post, 2023 or 2024 are same, as we strictly follow original wiring, no need tap wire on footwell.
COUPE or SUV shares same parts and wiring and coding.
C class or GLC use different hardware, size or shape slightly different.

I’m having the same issue. I’m extremely disappointed of paying so much for the pinnacle trim of the 2024 GLC and to not have the enhanced ambient lighting is a huge bummer. Thinking about cancelling factory order.

Most of the new car owner won’t even know it is missing. Mercedes has these parts for AMG models like C63, GLC63 etc. And one more thing: the cost of these parts is quite high, so very few people will really buy the original parts and retrofit it, some car owner will go for replica.
