MBUX 2.6.1 update
I have a notification that this update is available as an over the air update.
I am currently running RL_NTG7_E330.703_23472AC3
Does anyone know if this update would update from E330?
The reason I ask as the version I have has the bug where it would occasionally loose settings including the parking camera saved locations.
Another issue is I have a c300e phev and the 12v battery always seems to show partially charged. It never causes any alerts or issues but now seems to be blocking the installation of this update.

Thanks. I did two 1 hour drives today but the 12v battery is still showing partially charged and it won’t update.
I have it plugged in tonight and have the same trip tomorrow. If it doesn’t update by Friday I’ll pop into the dealer and raise the issue as it is very close and I have the day off.

You're welcome and sounds good. Are you planning or wanted to use those features listed in the changelog?

The sound drive sounds like a gimmick and I doubt I’ll use it. The alternative routing maybe if it does a better job of picking the most economical route but in the uk the c300e doesn’t have dc fast charging so I’m never going to be charging up mid trip.
The only one I am realistically going to use is the shared navigation.

After a couple of weeks the car eventually tried installing the update and failed. I’ve just got the car back after the local dealer installed it manually and I see E505 under the software version.
Does anyone know how you share a drive with someone as I couldn’t find an option.
The feature under digital options has no slider which would indicate that it is not enabled.

This morning, I was pleasantly surprised that the car wanted to install 2.6.1.
I locked the car as instructed and the Mercedes-Benz app on my phone notified me a few minutes later that the installation was complete and then, a few minutes after that, that the digital extras had been updated.
I was beginning to think that MBUX 2.6.1 was UK only as my car was stubbornly sticking with MBUX 2.4 that was last updated in May 2024.

I locked the car as instructed and the Mercedes-Benz app on my phone notified me a few minutes later that the installation was complete and then, a few minutes after that, that the digital extras had been updated.

Sharing a drive? As in sharing the digital key or profile to another Mercedes account? Or sharing the route/navigation/destination?

Sharing a drive. It’s supposed to send a text to a contact with a link so they can see where you are and when you are expected to arrive.

I can’t remember what the video shows. It’s not showing in my car and it appears disabled as in the screenshot I posted from the app. That’s normally if it’s a paid service you are not subscribed to but it should be enabled for me. I gave the dealer another poke about it a few days ago.

So what are exactly the differences from the 2.4 here in US? None of those updates listed above are available in my car with this new version.

It is difficult because MB doesn't post a changelog.
Got updated to 2.6.1. Don't see sound drive feature. Don't care much amout it. But what I really like that this update fixed Tidal client. Now it does remember shuffle setting (I don't need to set it each time I start the car) and starts play from song that was playing previously.

Got OTA updated to 2.6.1. Don't see Sound Drive feature. May be it's not for US. Don't care much about it. What I realy like is that Tidal client got fixed finaly. Shuffle setting persists between starts and playing starts from where it was stoped. It was a headache for me before.
