Very nice. A lot of changes. The only thing I don't seem to like is the shape of the steering wheel (looks very bulky) and the lack of a console shifter (but AMG may fix that like the E Class).

This is a major step down from the current CLS. It looks over-designed from the side, the interior isn't that distinguished from the current E-Class interior, and it's lost that 4-door coupe feel. It feels like an E-Class and a C-Class mated and this is the result.

I am going to replace my 335 next year with either 2012 CLS AMG, BMW M5 2012, or Audi RS5.
Benz is in the lead however.

And i just remembered that the 5.5 has too much torque for a double clutch... maybe the single clutch that´s on the E63?

mark my words...this car is gonna be a show-stopper in it AMG format - especially once modded cosmetically and performance wise. i love my CLS but this will dominate IMHO. for instance - i didnt care too much for the new e63 UNTIL i saw vic55's. this car looks far superior to the new E stock. with a drop and good wheels this car is gonna be sick - but thats my opinion and opinions r like buttholes

It's growing on me , I have to see the AMG model .. What I do like both cars old & new are stunners and will be classics and are nearly totally different GOOD Move MB. I do think that the rear is very close to Nissan Maxima maybe too close ,, Interior looks good ,, The front lights are distinctive and unique just like the Original CLS ,,, Must see car in person. Oh , the side view is maybe too close to the E class & S class where the old body is totally different than the E & S class cars old & new . It may be hard for people to distinguish it from other mercedes cars new E & S classes which could be a problem in selling the model... time will tell . When I buy another Mercedes it would be a 2012 CLS AMG Badm

I prefer this new one to the old one, often takes a while for the new ones to look "right" especially for owners of the prev gen...
