2012 CLS 63 Unveiling at Euromotorcars of Bethesda

I literally just got off the phone with Brian at (Euromotorcars of Bethesda). He told me that Management has finally scheduled a date for the 2012 CLS63 unveiling. The unveiling is now scheduled for Sunday June 26th, from 1000 am until. Finally, as I've been waiting for this date for awhile.
Of course there be food and drinks, and someone there to answer your questions about the car. For those of you in the Washington DC area, come take a look at the new CLS63 AMG. I hope to see your there.
Just a little taste, of the 2012 CLS63 AMG unveiling at Euromotorcars of Bethesda.

"AMG - The most fun you could have under your right foot."

Informed me that there sending out 2 thousand postcards to AMG and CLS owners in their dealerships database for the CLS 63 unveiling. And they are also encouraging all of our sales people new and used cars, to let there customers know about the event.
I asked him, if they were prepared for the onslaught of 1000 people showing up. And his answer was, that would be a nice problem to have.

Take lots of pics please

Scheduled for this Sunday June 26th at 11 AM. I just spoke to Brian, and they have just secured a CLS63, and Mercedes is having it shipped down from New Jersey. This was a major hurdle, to jump thru since all the 2012 CLS 63’s are being gobbled up by buyers, as this is one hot looking car.
I had to opportunity to drive it at an AMG Performance Drive Event in NY. And let me tell you, this thing is great around a track.
So come on out and take a look at the CLS 63 AMG. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the CLS 63 that Mike drove down. It's Steel gray with the performance package.

The wife of a friend sitting in the car, checking out the window sticker.

The interior of the CLS 63 is outstanding, with a leather wrapped dash, and Alcantara headliner.

And a photo of Brian, that I'm always talking about.

I really like the nice CF engine cover.

Quite a bit of trunk space.

We didn't have time to clean this beast up.

Not a cheap car, but worth it.

Mike was headed back to NJ

Thank you Mike (MBUSA), for bringing us this car.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

That was from Mike burning up I-95 to bring us this car, besides it needed a bath. And after the event he drove it back to Montvale, NJ home of MBUSA. It belonged to a big wig at Corporate HQ. I used a metal polish on my exhaust tips, the carbon residue is tough to get off.

The one thing that I learned yesterday, that they have the Mayback 62S, that belonged to a famous actor, hint "Winning"Unfortunately, they didn't want me taking pictures of the Maybach. And that Michael "Air" Jordan's agent lives in Bethesda, MD. And as such tasks his agent with buying all his Mercedes/AMGs, and Euromotorcars secures them, and ships them to NC. they said that he has quite the collection, SLR Mclaren to name a few.
It's something about this color on the SLS that just fascinates me.

Here is a picture of Tom, he never really got the AMG bug out of his system. Look at the smile, he wants to buy it

His wife reading the window sticker, I think shes' dicussing the 118K sticker price.

The CLS 63, has adequate leg room.

Some of the E63 with the AMG Driving Academy stickers on it.

Some shots of the underground service bays

Brian, showing Mike the service bays.

Some of the Porsche's and Aston Martin, they have for sell in their Pre-owned department, that I could photograph.

Maybach

Here are pictures of the new SLK.

These seats are so comfortable
Sorry the turn out wasn't better. At least my wife and I enjoyed the event. The CLS63 is extremely impressive. I especially loved the interior....it is probably the best interior I have ever sat in. Thanks for putting the event together!
Tom

Your welcome, I'm not worried about the dismal turn out, because I gained valueable knowledge from Mike. I was picking his brain, before your guys showed up, and long after you lefted
Although very few people showed up, the event will live long in cyberspace
It seems MB is going for this new look which began with the SLS.
Just take a look at the new SLS, SLK, and now CLS.
They have a very similar front grill. The similarities become more obvious when looking at the grill of these three models from the profile perspective.
The grills are not as slanted, but appear to be more upright.

Yes, Euromotorcars has quite the new car/pre-owned selection going for them.
We have held three events there since last year. I drove this car on a race track in NY a few months ago, it's incredible. But you're doing nothing to make my wait easier. My build date got pushed back to July 8; delivery date known but to God.

The carbon interior trim looks especially great; I've ordered the same, but with ash/black leather.
What's the story on Steel Grey paint? It shows up as a no-cost option on the sticker, so it's obviously not a custom or Designo color. But it's not on the M-B USA configurator. Good looking color, and it's even shiny! (Apologies to fans of matte paint, but I just don't get it.)

This car belonged to one of the executive at MBUSA. So they probably had this car configured differently. I can't comment why this color isn't on the MBUSA website.

Never liked that style even on the 997 Turbo.
First one to make aftermarket side view mirrors in a smaller/sportier appearance will make a lot of money.
