Stunning and very classy. Good choice on the light interior to better show off the carbon fiber trim. At nearly $3k for the CF trim you don't want it to disappear in a darker interior.

You saw the mud on my tires, huh?
As of now, the last 500 feet to my driveway is a sea of red clay and gravel. They've been grading the road in preparation for paving, at long last, for weeks. When they finally do begin laying asphalt (any week now), I'll have to park the CLS63 for a while, and drive my old car until final cleaning and sealing of the new road.

that sounds awesome.....
it's funny because I did need a 'new' driveway too, so I designed one, had it
built, mainly for my car, haha.....never really was motivated to do it until then....
but yeah, I know lots of people with killer houses, but their drive usually isn't
paved......that's just the way it is around here.......it isn't exactly rural.....
some people just live far from their road, which I actually like a lot.....
but it is a tradeoff for a dirty car, hehe....
have fun in it!

I think your dog is waiting for a ride in your new CLS
Interior carbon fibre is part of the performance package.
the $3K is for exterior AMG exterior carbon fibre trim included mirrors, diffuser and front lip.

The dogs (two Weimaraners; you can barely see the top of the other one's head in the pic) will be waiting a long, long time.
That's not the case in the U.S. For whatever reason, Mercedes puts options together in different packages for different countries, and some options are not offered at all in some countries.
In the U.S., the performance package ($7300) includes, among other things, the carbon fiber engine cover. To get the carbon fiber trunklid spoiler, you must order the performance package, but the spoiler isn't included -- it's another $700. The exterior carbon package (mirrors, diffuser, front lip) isn't offered in U.S.-bound cars (I wanted the carbon mirrors, and may buy them aftermarket, though they'll probably burn me a new one
).
The interior carbon fiber trim is $2850, which is pretty steep considering that it replaces some "standard" wood which is fairly costly itself, I would think.

Actually, it's light grey -- called "ash" here in the U.S. and "alpaca" in the U.K. -- one of the three standard leather choices. But it can appear almost white under certain conditions, especially at night with the ambient lighting turned to "polar" (blue).
