I actually finally had luck with this last week. I was headed to work one morning and the noise still persisted when I was near the dealer at the freeway entrance (Laguna Niguel). I decided to try my luck and hope it still squeaked when I pulled up to their service line. Thankfully, it did. Left it over night and they checked it again in the morning cold, and think they found the source: driver side upper front strut mount. The strut turns with the wheel, and they think its something in the mount rubbing when turned near lock in either direction.
They ordered a new one, but unfortunately it has to come from Germany

Hey Ali,
Do you happen to know the TIB number? I think my car has this problem too and when I press on my dashboard, the noise goes away and immediately when I release the pressure, the noise comes back! Not a huge problem, but annoying nonetheless!

obove speedo meter there is plastic and loose a bit when its cold because it shrink (LOL) and cuase it keeps shaking and making moise, MB knows about it and already released TIB or whaterver it is called, for a refix.
i noticed it the first day when i got the car and complained about it, but you all know dealer won't do a thing unless there is a fix from MB, but i did it myself and the service manager agreed on my way better than MB way which requires to open the dashboard again and everything to stuff it, my fix was double side 3M tape and a stick a small piece that do the job perfectly and within 2 minutes of holding it till it grabs and dry.

no sorry, the senior SV of my dealer told me when i complained about to him that it was noticed first in Germeny and there is a fix for the ones that was built before they know about it.
just step on your dealer untill he contacts MB for it, or you can use my method to stick 3M double side tape between the plastic above speedo meter and below the topp leather dashboard. and call it the day.
because SV told me they have to open the whole Dash including CF/ wood trim and it itakes 2 - 3 days.

My rear Suspension "seized" at 1800 miles. Part might take two weeks and the car is not drivable. Guy said he has only seen this one other time. Lucky me. Outside I agree with every single sarcastic comment because I love this car! Look in my "garage" and you can see how low the back looks. That was taken right before I brought her in.

My issue turned out to be a failure of the camera system. Haven't had any time to drive the car since receiving it back, but the wife will take it on a road trip next week, so we'll see if the issues were all resolved.

No problems other than the annoying low presurre brake squek a few of us are experiencing. However, I just found the OEM MB anti-squek paste that the dealers use on Amazon Prime so I don't have to take it to the dealer now ofr that.
The sunroof cover flying open at WOT is another issue but this is kind of amusing. I hear you can ask for friction tape to be added to prevent.

That was me at the gym..... You were the first to notice and your right...at the moment I just liked the way it looked. I figured that I was so close to my 2000 LSD check-up that I would just wait.

My car is in right now getting the wheels and badges painted and they told me not to paint the grill but to get it wrapped instead.
I am also doing the same colors on the CLS 63 as you but I am also doing the side badges. V8 in black, biturbo in red.
I see your in Chicago. My in-laws own Car Leasing Inc in Linconwood if you are familiar.

Not exactly a moan, more high pitched. Iv'e never been able to get a good recording of it with my iPhone. It only happens when cold and when turning about 90% to lock in either direction.
I just got a call from the dealer and they said replacing the strut mount did NOT fix it. They pulled the sway bar off and they said that actually made the sound worse. So they are still looking into it, and said they have contacted MB now.
I'm patient, and I don't mind them having the car for a while. But if Its not fixed after a month more or so, Ill probably contact the "Larry H Parker" of lemon lawyers here in SoCal and see what my options are.
I love the car, but not going to be able to "live" with this problem.
Also, I did see another post where someone was asking about steering vibration. Yes, mine has it. I've had the wheels balanced 3 times now, and It has not gone away. Most noticeable between 80 and 90.
