First and foremost thank you for taking the time out to read this. AMS Performance is a forced induction specialist that opened its doors a little over 10 years ago. In that time we have made major advancements and developments in the forced induction field.

Enough with the GT-R though. The purpose of this thread is to announce our entrance into the Mercedes world. Just recently we picked up a new 2012 E63 AMG:









For those unfamiliar with AMS and what we do please allow me to give you a brief breakdown.

Unlike other tuning shops AMS is full service tuning facility and Part manufacturer. Just about every part that bears the AMS or ALPHA name is made right here in house at AMS.

We have a team of 30 highly skilled industry professionals. The best of the best in the industry!

Our in house engineering department is state of the art. We have the equipment to go from concept to design to finished part all inside these walls.

We pride ourselves on OEM quality, fit and finish. We believe a product should fit just as well or better than the stock component you are taking off...after all if you are upgrading shouldn't you upgrade ALL attributes of the component.

When it comes to tuning we have you covered too. We not only offer tuning solutions for just about every car but we also do it all under our roof. We have two full time calibration specialists and two AWD dyno's allowing us to accommodate just about any customers need.



We really are a ONE stop shop for ANY of your performance needs.

So what kind of goals are you setting for this platform?

 

We plan to have packages similar to our Alpha GT-R line. We are looking to see where the car will allow us to go without any compromises to its already amazing quality.

 

Considering what I currently drive and the fact that I've been an EvoM member for 5+ years I can say welcome to the forum, AMS!

When I came over I was a bit dissapointed at the "Quickest/Fastest" list since Evo's run 9's on stock block and street trim, 8's in street trim and built internals/weight reduction!

Hopefully you can get the AMG's somewhere in that ballpark but I do realize it'll be a challenge.

 

Are you looking at possibly working with Haltech or AEM to get an EMS put on the car? If not, what will you be using as a tuning solution?

 

Considering that Renntech stage 2 package is turning out 700 HP and just cracked the 10s 1/4 mile with just a tune and down pipes I can only begin to imagine the gains when you start playing with the turbos (upgrades).

Will definitely be following your progress.

i went with 2.75" for my car.

did you have welding when fitting it, coz the one i was going to order is a stansteel stright fit engineered in AMG workshop i think ceramic coating
