My new 12 CLS63 AMG PCE
walked into the dealer and she had me at hello on the color alone, the performance + made it a perfect storm for me. I had a 07 CLS63 then picked up a 12 CLS550 in june and knew as soon as i drove a I should have waited.

Well the 07 63 went back about a year and a half ago. I was impatient and picked up a 12 550 in june, it was wasn't that far of the 07 63. I knew i was going to get a 63 it was just a matter of time...when I saw this last Saturday I had to have it. I lost a little bit by not waiting but so far not regretting one second.

i put about 3900 miles on my12 CLS550 was a great car averaging 24mph my daily is a ford raptor with the 6.2 that was one of the reason i talked myself into the 550. its a great car nicer in my opinion than my 07CLS63 but this new murders both.

I was looking at the Ford Raptor awhile back and remember seeing gas millage 11-13 MPG. CLS550 @ 24 MPG must of been nice. On my 63 I think I'm averaging 18 MPG, but that wont last long, still in break-in mode. Congrats!

Any thoughts yet on car soap? I am sure you have been or will be.
I have been searching for the last few days, and there are not too many options.
Swissvax - seems too overpriced for something so simple
Dr. Beasley Matte soap - better price, no reviews
I just ordered the Dr. Beasley to test out and will see.

Performance Center Edition cars are different that Launch Edition Cars. Only AMG Performance Centers (not every MB dealer) can get PCE's, while most dealers can get LE's. There were less than 100 CLS PCE's made, all with the Bronze Matte paint. There are a lot more LE's around, painted in a Grey Matte. The PCE's also have a few more options. I don't remember if the LE's have the higher horsepower of the Performance Package, but the PCE's all have it.

If it's Sintered Bronze Matte ..
Though i didnt think there was a difference between Launch Edition and PCE
In either case, the major difference (besides the matte bronze color) is the Designo two tone interior w/alacantra headliner.
On the downside, the PCE cars came with one pkg, which did not include the Limited Slip Diff. Owell

Coult it be that you posted some years back pics of your garage? don`t finde them, but at that time you had a 991 S cabrio and Boxster techart, the garage looks like the on 6speed some years back! enjoy the car, great specs!
