what is your set up width, diameter, offset wise? You can get it off the rim edge on the inside (not face side)

all I know now is they're 19's with a satin finish.....

a big change for me personally.....
I got pretty used to the concave look of the cv1's...
these are pretty mellow, but look great....
decided to go with the silver center caps...
and I know: everyone thinks it needs a drop...
still on the fence.........

Hmm...Something looks off. Does the rear wheels line up flush with the fender?

Agree, not sure who you got the wheels from but the offsets are not correct or very conservative in the rear...

or you didnt go 19x11 which is the optimal rear width...

What are widths and tire set up?

P40SC's are conical in nature and they have what is called a low offset in the rear (CLS) and medium in the front (CLS) with low having the most cone like effects. From the pics it appears you have a medium offset in the rear and high in the front. But keep in mind that 19's have less diameter which inturn shows less conical effects.

Looks nice. Gotta agree with other posters. Offset looks conservative. Was it on purpose?

looks good and the rear looks off maybe cuz of the tire size! what is width of the wheel and what tire sizes are you running?

oh geez......I guess it was on purpose........
I don't know, the tire dude picked the tires:255/35 and 285/30 and the front and rear....
I think the rears are 10.5 in the back....

so what is the fix here exactly?
they look fine too me, but I'm hearing that they're not optimal.......

thanx duders!

Well, they mean optimal for an aggressive flush to the fenders fitment. I think a drop and some rear spacers would take care of it. Great looking wheels, gotta love the mesh!

Optimal is the following:

20x9 and 20x11 or 19x9 and 19x11

on 20s you would run 255x30 and 305x25 tires with a 35 rear offset and a 25 front.

19's you would run 255x35 and 305x30 with the same offsets.

This would keep your rolling diameter closest to stock. The rears are not wide enough at 10.5 but even with 10.5's you could just lower the offset by 12mm to a et23 to push out the rears. Even if you get wider tires it wont be right with your set up- you will have a ballooning effect with the rubber. The problem is with the width of the wheel and the offset. If you pull your wheel off (leave tire on) and look on the inside lip of the wheel where the tire touches the rim you will see the HRE offsets imprinted.

I just hate to use spacers on a custom made wheel that should be made perfectly for your car. I doubt HRE did these specs as they know the perfect set up. It had to be your retailer who suggested such specs.

It looks good man. Either have ur wheel guys get another set made for u with the correct specs or get some spacers. I like the wheel choice but not the fitment. See if u can get it replaced for the correct ones. U paid top dollar for HRE, it should be top dollar fitment. Ur ride deserves perfect tailored fit. Spacer would just be a waste of what u shelled out $$$ for. Have the wheel guys you used make things right.

bollocks!
so ask for another set to be made? these are not refundable....

I wouldn't even know what to say to the wheel guys....I left yesterday
with 'em on and was happy....
but the concensus here seems to be "NO"...

i drive them all, fast and hard
Optimal wheel stance is subjective

If you have nineteens and you went with stock specs then that's optimal per factory
Which is fine

They look good
but obviously whenever your go bigger than stock and do a drop it looks awesome like vics

Honestly I think they look good.........and really, only the biggest wheel snob (Vic types) would even pick up that subtle difference. If it is really an issue for you, then spend $200.00 on some H&H 10mm spacers/lugs and call it a day. But if you go to that trouble, then get the KW coil-overs and drop it just a bit.

Edit: Looks like HRE to the rescue.....Nice!

thanx again you guys, and that is comforting....to know that they're good...
even though they're not optimal per say, I still do like the look,
I also hope that this particular set-up wouldn't cause any damage to the car you know?

and many thanx Lon!! I am very pleased with these and like them very much.....
guess I just have some more to learn about these things! but that's a good thing you know? I really thank you for the support

these boards are the best

kudos to the guys that can tell just from the pictures
