Really nice! From my standpoint (I'm not a visual mod guy), I find the larger wheels improve the look and I agree with you Hyperion, I would not lower it. This car is too classy to mess with height. I could live with low if it was a consequence of adding coilovers to improve the handling but I would certainly not do that on purpose. Good job!

Haha, I'd have to agree with freefall, not even THAT much of a drop, just a tiny bit to take a tiny bit of the gap away..

Its killing me too. Beautiful car though. The wheels go well with the car.

Ok that stupid title made no sense to me and I spent a few seconds saying it out loud until someone in my office looked at me funny.

dude love the car, love wheels but for the love of all that is holy:

Clean the wheels and drop the car or lose my number

Hype, I have to call you out on something. On the w212 non amg forum You were speaking about wheels on your E550 and said that you won't do 19's on that car because it rides so nice. Well since you have that nice riding car you have no excuse not to put a small drop on this badass cls.... Just saying Buddy....lol

Edit: BTW, these pics look awesome. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.

haha, thanx bro.......
you're right, there is not an excuse besides the fact that I just don't feel the urge you know?
not like an urge for wheels or the urge to tint or something.....another thing bugging me lol, despite that being a big let down to a bunch of my peers here.....it isn't so bad
I still cause others to practically run off the road while staring lol.....
that and people constantly speeding up around me haha

Hype, I forgot to reply on your question about the 3 sections on your diffuser. What do you think about ordering a stock front lower bumper center section mesh, and having a good autobody shop cutting those 3 sections out and then replacing with the mesh from the front end. They could use the 3 sections they cut out as templates on the new mesh to cut to fit??? Just an idea, WTH do I know.lol

I was actually thinking of ordering mentioned rear piece and modding that one with a mesh type material, and since those three spots are recessed it may be a bit easier to have a clean look versus something that looks all hacked up, but I'm not sure how much the piece is.........would also be nice to have a 'back-up' too.....that's why I'd just get a second..
so you're saying just order the front end mesh material? that isn't a bad idea if it's available....
might be sweet to have some sort of LED lighting scheme there in addtion......

Just take a look behind those openings before you do anything in case there is something ugly that will be seen when the mesh is in place. I am sure a good body shop can make it look factory, seems like a easy, but cool mod....LED'S huh, maybe the same color to match you mirrors when done modding and some of those drop lights under the doors......

Don't worry about the drop. When he car is moving its less noticeable. Remember this car is already dropped relative to a base model so no worries.. .....after I drop my car I'll bug you about your lol

I forgot your e class wheels. What's on there. Is that the wife's car mainly

Wonder how much those lifts cost
