Should she be lowered?

Also, shout out to Sean at Wheel Specialists and Bob at EuroWheelsUSA for customizing the offsets and stuffing 305's in the rear!

something about this car looks weird... dont exactly know what it is.... But something is sticking out thats making it look odd.

Not bad color though... still wanna see a matte gold AMG like the one I saw in Europe on a non-AMG CLS

Yeah... the tires are too thick making them look too tall. Switching from 255/35/20 and 305/30/20 to 255/30 and 305/25 should do the trick.

Thanks for the feedback.

Wow. 255/35-20 upfront on C218? I know it was barely possible on C219, but C218? What is the width and offset of the front wheels? What else, if anything, was done to make 255/35-20 (and 305/30-20) fit without rubbing?

it looks different because we have seen vics cars etc, but it actually looks good, i don't think it is a wrong setup but i don't know the rolling diameters of the size you have compared to stock

is the car lowered or stock

Looks good but I think you got the wrong tire size at the rear that's why it's looks as if there is something wrong, I think if you had 25's at the back instead of the 30 it would be perfect.

Looks good! The 35 series tires pictured here are roughly 1" overall larger than the 25 series others are using. That's only 1/2" more sidewall which isn't much of a difference at all and hard to tell from the photo's. All that matters is that you like them as wheels are such a personal choice.

With a 255x35 and 305x30 you are running too tall vs the stock diameter of about 25.8 inches (285x30x19)

The Pirellis in 303x30x20 run about or at 27 inches... you are 1 inch too tall overall and while it may fit your speedo will be off.. Im sure its not going to be detrimental but plus sizing was invented for a reason.

Wouldn't the only things affected be be the speedo (around 3.5mph faster at 60mph) and possibly the ABS a very slight amount. As long as he is not having any codes thrown and is happy with them all should be good.

updated pics with lower aspect ratio tires are better....but I'm just not feeling those new Vossens...needs more of a concave IMHO...I like the matte paint though

yeahhh, lol, hope youre not spending too much money on just tires.... seems like you got a set the moment we all said something about it....

and it all looks decent, just drop it, but consider what Vic said, and in my OP, change the tires.... again.

Vic55 & Kompressed

Vic, I live in costa mesa, so maybe you can help me out with a couple of my questions pertaining to getting mods done locally and where I can get work done. I recently picked up the new CLS63 (my first MB) and I'm planning on putting the same Vossen graphite matte wheels on my white car. I know Kompressed went through some hell finding the right tires, etc.. I'm planning on the Vossen cv4's 20x9 255/30 and 20x10.5 on 305/25's - is this the right setup-it's what vossen has all over their site? Kompressed, what did you have to do for the custom spacers? I live in orange county, VIC or anyone know a good place I can get my ride lowered, Renntech ECU, and the vossen wheels&tires put on? I know brabus is located here, but I'm sure their shop time is ridiculous, and I don't want to use their tuning anyway. I'm new to the modern car mods, prior to this car i've dealt mostly with pre-70's. So any help is appreciated. It looks like alot of the tuning is plug and play, is that the case or should I just leave these modern tech engines to the guys with computers. thx - Paul

2018 GLE63 AMG COUPE
Hey guys - So just got a set of 10x9 and 10x10.5 Vossen 20s.

The tires the shop installed are 255/35 and 305/25.

Are the fronts tires too big? Could this be an issue for the car? Someone above mentioned something about stock diameter?
